They are currently delivering teaching using a mix of synchronous (i.e. live), asynchronous (i.e. non-live) and face-to-face approaches. Lectures are delivered online through DMU Replay and all students will receive some ‘live’ learning every week - either online or face-to-face, in line with current government restrictions.
Course content relevant but the online experience did not really sit with me. Could not have the experience to fully interact and discuss with my fellow course peers to divulge into more aspects of the course.
While the course is decent, some tutors/lecturers are not as knowledgeable in some areas and this brings the teaching quality of the module/s down.
Even though placements are advertised as well as graduate jobs, if you do not have much technical experience, it can be hard to get into the field you want to get into.
The course is pretty good, however be aware there are some modules in the first year that aren't very interesting or relevant.
One star for personal tutor because no one has actually met theirs yet (December). This seems consistent across all courses though, none of my friends on any course have met them (and don't even know who their tutor is unless they checked their profile).
