Appalling teaching. In the name of diversity and saving money one tutor teaching few different modules. Extremely poor English, on lectures barely can understand anything.Lectures read from slides, with lecturer not knowing what he is doing. You will not get any help, as at your tutorials you have the same lecturers from different subjects who give you A4 with answers for the end of the semester, because they do not know how to explain. Marking is the same as teaching. Prospects of getting a job tiny. You end up with a bit of a basics in Python, basics of C++, and a bit of a basics of Java, using Netbeans IDE. Waste of money!!!

Personal tutors are not engaging too much with their groups and are slacking off their free hours

By member1324968 On 6th December 16I was very impressed with the open day and the staff so couldn't wait to start. Then I was put into a group who had lectures missed off the timetable which took weeks to realise then down to us to catch up. Turns out they scheduled the coding help times into that slot so our group does not get the help we are entitled too. The staff are different to the open days very disappointed. Hard to understand the accents of the lecturers in some modules. Also very unfair groups in the ALL projects why should certain students have to do the work of 5? Oh and turns out they messed up our 2nd semester timetable again. The books we should receive have been for-fitted in return for a s***** Chromebook which helps our course in no way at all. The tutors dont have any experience in the language we are learning? I 100% regret choosing Coventry University now.

Covers a wide range of learning materials. Offers many ways of learning-if we want to learn in a different way or reorder lab and tutorial sessions, the lecturers are willing to make a change and will always do better for us students.

This course is quite challenging and requires much more time to self-study. My experience is going well until now.

By member1243399 On 10th November 19The lecturers don't know what they are doing? They only come to class and read lecture slides to confuse you. There is no value for money at all.
Really enjoyed my course for two reasons: 1. The content on the course really interests me. 2. Some, and when I say some I mean 50%, of my teachers were very engaging. That a higher percentage of engaging teachers I’ve had than ever before.
