The ability to rent and use the equipment is amazing. Something that many other places can’t offer. The lectures make sure you use all of the equipment and learn to the most of your abilities. Everyday is a new chance to learn and most days we are doing that. The submissions are easy to get your head around. read more

I personally believe the teaching quality was satisfactory, considering how the lockdown made face-to-face lesson inaccessible. My personal tutor was very accessible and welcoming. I had a couple of meetings with them and they even helped me sort an obstacle. Having someone to talk to when away from home is enough to motivate you and they did just that. I am very thankful for their support. The overall content of the course was great. I've learned new stuff and will be looking forward to what next year has in store for me. With this course, I am confident of my possible future job opportunities. read more

Most of the lecturers are really dedicated. A couple of them don't seem very knowledgeable, my first year audio lecturer didn't even teach us up to a-level standard, but he was a part-timer so not a big issue. The facilities are really bad, tiny photography studio, out dated TV studio etc. read more

Only one lecturer I would consider poor out of 12 I've had so far Practical classes are fun and I'm enjoying making my own movies, My tutor Ellen is absolutely lovely and a delight to talk to if I ever need help Unfortunately some modules in first year seemed pointless and unavoidable due to module choices read more

Great course with some amazing experiences as we got to visit BBC studios and meet some filmmakers. Sometimes the lecturers were unsure of what they were doing but most of them were amazing and really supportive. Job prospects out of uni were hard, it took me 18 months to get a job and I know many of my friends on the course were in the same situation. If you want to do media, do work experience as this will help. read more

This course is worth it money-wise because we get the opportunity to use professional standard equipment. There's a thing called AV loans where we can hire equipment, such as cameras, lighting, and audio stuff for free. The current modules are Video/Photography, Multimedia (web design), Social Media (basically make a blog and gotta do a campaign) and Audio/Radio. Some of the lab tutors are really good, a few are just adequate. This course opens up to a lot of different job opportunities since you are taught a range of skills in different areas of Media. In second and third year you get to choose what you want to study so that you can specialise in your field of interest. read more

The course it's alright however if you would like to have in depth knowledge about any topic, I would not say this is the course for you. This course probably would be better paired with a master's degree. read more
