Nottingham Trent University
NTU has been an amazing experience for me and everyone I know so far. The city is amazing. The campuses and facilities are vast, pretty, inspiring and comfortable.
Best Campus / Facilities winner, Nottingham Trent University, scored an overall rating of 4.6. NTU is spread across 4 unique campuses. The university’s City Campus offers a number of vibrant leisure spaces, a modern trading room, animation and photography facilities, a cutting-edge library and sports centre. The City Campus is also home to The Hive – a centre for entrepreneurship which helps students and graduates turn business ideas into reality. NTU’s Clifton Campus, which is based 4 miles outside of the city centre, delivers a number of environmentally friendly initiatives and buildings. The campus is home to extensive research facilities, a crime scene training lab and an astronomical Observatory. The university’s Brackenhust Campus, situated in the heart of the Nottinghamshire countryside, is home to the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences (ARES). The campus facilitates leading conservation research and students can make use of an eco-library, animal unit and veterinary nursing centre. The Creative Quarter Campus delivers a range of innovative learning spaces including a media production lab, a television studio and brand new Digital Media Hub.
University of Greenwich
Beautiful Greenwich Campus. Great location in London. Lots of good clubs and societies. Great location for work experience in London. Wifi in all campus buildings.
Best University Wifi winner, The University of Greenwich, scored an overall rating of 4.4. Located in the south-east of England, the University of Greenwich has two campuses in London, Avery Hill and Greenwich, and one in Medway, Kent. Technology plays a key role in the University of Greenwich’s teaching and it is, therefore, no surprise that high-speed WiFi is available in all campus buildings. Students can connect to the university's WiFi network using their laptop and mobile phone. They can also benefit from the ability to access the university’s network across all other participating institutions.
University of Brighton
Internet was bad, food was average, cleaners did a good job, halls was frequently noisy, especially in the middle of the night, and it's very far away from clubs and town.
Best Cleaning (Accommodation) winner, The University of Brighton, scored an overall rating of 3.6. The University of Brighton is spread across four campuses in the south of England, three of which are in Brighton, and one in Eastbourne. The university offers a range of university-managed accommodation across its campuses including fully equipped halls of residence and comfortable student houses. In total, there are 24 university halls of residence in Brighton and Eastbourne. A mixture of ensuite and shared bathroom accommodation is available in both self-catered and catered halls, to suit a variety of budgets. In all halls of residence, communal areas are cleaning on a weekly basis.
