I'm from Final Year Civil engineering I want to say that due to covid-19 please Cancel the assignments and projects Conduct Online tests Give marks according to test in assignment And After the college reopens Don't postponed Semester just cancel the all Internal tests and Viva
Not providing facilities for scholars , taking long time for result announcing, not taking care for the students who came from other countries, complex documents process and taking too match time the process of foreign students documents about 2,3 months.....
The worst university i had ever seen . They are only earn money in form of revaluation. Dont take admission in this university .If u do a full attempt in paper still u got a kt and then fill form of reval blaahhh blahh.. very very bad experience ........
A word will summarise the review of every aspect of this University - Worst, worst ever. I could go on writing why it is worst, but it will be a waste of my precious time to review such a third class institution.
In IT sector useless practical knowledge is provided .Asking tough questions or checking papers strictly don't make bright students. As of my experience in Bsc IT students are not able to focus on big or unique projects they stick their heads on html and even call themselves website designer.Same thing in engineering as unnecessary syllabus is added useful topics are left behind.Again a vast syllabus or difficult portion don't make any University the best one but students should get jobs.
Worst one..i cannot think of any more worse than university of mumbai..I have been a student here for past 3 years...completed my bachelors in2017.Currently pursuing my MBA.Still my convocation certificate is lost in transit
University need to improve and provide quality of education, practical demonstartions.More than 90% of engineering colleges affiliated to univeristy of mumbai are running on fake propaganda of best education.Only the students & professors going to these colleges know the bitter truth.I studied in Atharva College of engineering, which has ruined the quality of education being headed by political party leader and his team who have made use of colleges ,programs as a brand for their marketting and making money. Please stop this for better future of students.
Very s***** University as per my views , they don't care about what is the syllabus , they teach depricated s*** , which doesn't even exists , technology is something which is evolving day by day but the syllabus arghh...it's the same old s*** which the people 10 year ago must have studied, and i dont think from last 10 years the technology is the same right , the first iphone came 10 years ago and see where is it now...and we are still studying old syllabus
This is the best business model - first there might be problem with your paper getting scanned causing you to fail respective subject. Then exam forms go live as well the revaluation forms. So even if you clear the sibject in revaluation you have to lose money which u had paid for the exam form
Sorry, but it's the worst University ever.. not like I've studied in other universities, but I wish I did. My friends in the other universities are much happier. I wish I could give zero stars in some of the above options. thank you!
One of the Worst universities. People here take admission just because they don't have any better option if they want to study in Mumbai Colleges. Would recommend to avoid taking admission if other alternative is available.
They don't care about the students they only care about money and themselves. Facilities are wack and teachers are s******. They intentionally fail you to earn revaluation money and they work like a government employees always making excuses.
The university is abysmal and needs to be refurbished to represent India's largest city. The uni appears to be in a thick overgrowth rather than a green campus. Paperwork is terrifically slow. I graduated from St. Xavier's so ai prefer to not mention mumbai uni in my cv so I get some credibility.
Very very worst university they release results very late and paper correction is also doubtful first they fail students and after that in rechecking suddenly marka get increases by 10 -20 marks...sometimes university release recheking result after KT exam ....
The most important thing, security is a big issue at the University. There is no checking or enquiry at the University gate. Anyone can get inside the University. The other thing being infrastructure, the buildings are 200 years old and no renovation work is done yet. The washrooms are always unclean making them good for nothing.
I am not getting my last sem marksheet, such a slow work from university, probably worst university ever, university is not at all organised, every department and department staff is so lazy, you have to wait for minimum 6 months to get your work done, such a worst university
A pathetic University never a person should Study in this university more than 20000 colleges managed under this and every year delay in graduation results pathetic condition of exam house of the university if you are out of Maharastra state students are been torchered for the release of there marksheets the whole system is slow and corrupt .
horrible university...dont apply here so that the people working here would loose their jobs eventually since they dont know how to treat students..very unorganised university with respect to time tables being set as well as results..professors affiliated to Mumbai university are not equiped to teach..and staff is horrible..please close down this university as it is not student friendly at all..
University is very late. When I was doing my graduation in 2017 it declared our final year results in the ending of August n 20% of the students did not even now either they're pass or fail they got to know about there results in the month of october. Besides this in that year nun of the students were able to apply for foreign courses.
Mumbai university always postpones exam dates and exam results Even the paper checking is not upto the mark There are soo many students who get 20-30 marks in exam and after applying revaluation marks get upto 40-50 Even the faculties are least bothered
No proper knowlwdge is served. You have to do all by yourself. They just want to u write assignments whole semester. If you have less than 50 perecent attendance they will not hesistate to give u drop. Please think 100 timesbefore doing enngineering from mu.
Faculties give a soft copy of the write ups which we have to print and attach in the journal as it is and then they check it and give different marks to every student. Why not just submit it themselves. Why go through all that pain.
In Mumbai you don't get a hugeass campus just like Delhi University and all but the exposure you get can compensate, college timing's are generally from 7am-12pm at max or in between that, so you get enough time for yourself and internships which can help you out with a good cv, there is no such things as student Union but clubs and societies are very very active and can be a good thing to join.
Unprofessional. They focus on the unimportant things such as changing convocation attire rather than important stuff such as updating the curriculum, improving the online admissions system, etc. The list is unending.
Mumbai university is good but their syllabus are not matching with today's technology and standards so this needs to updated and Campus and facilities are somewhat poor in some colleges. Main aspect was time issue the time was student college was 8 to 9 hours hectic so this needs to less than to 5-6 hours so student can do some external work related to that or others. Because some students are go to far for college. This was engineering college situation needs fast and necessary to be updated.
What internet and wifi ? It's non-existent. Our college is affiliated with the MU. And we don't even have 2 lifts working at the same time. The administrative staff is lethargic and has been very incompetent in the past. They have failed students and not marked more than half of the paper even after a revaluation. When the students took a photocopy of the paper they realised their scores weren't low they just didn't bother to check the entire paper. You want to get an education ? Go to some private college or go abroad. Save yourself the time and money and efforts I didn't have the time to save.
The worst university on earth.... No cooperation .... No fixed schedule ...horrible grading system.... The grade you get is depending on how big your answer is no matter if u repeat points ...no concern of quality of education.... Haven't learned anything to help me in day to day life.... Mumbai university u need a serious make over in all aspects please stop ruining life with your rubbish teaching and fix the God dam website (update) I have an exam to give n the site is showing me the exam is on may 2017 ..... When it's oct 2019 ....And while you do that hire helpful staff that are will to help and understand English
I am still studying here but my experience has not been great at all. The university is very clumsy with checking papers and often they mention wrong marks and the students have to apply for reval paying a huge amount for each paper. Other than that the syllabus is outdated, the syllabus has no scope in the outside world and is completely useless having not practical use of it.
The university offer bunch of courses but the syllabus is not up to date even the engineering branch are following the syllabus of 1974 .. There is lack of modern knowledge about the different technologies available present in the market today.. also the campus is not well maintained..
