Now coming towards the end of my first year I feel really happy with the way that the learning is structured at Loughborough so would suggest the course to any possible applicants, there is a much higher amount of contact hours than I had anticipated which allowed me to quickly make friends on the course and feel as though I was learning a lot from my tutors and peers. Throughout the year you take on a wide range of projects which encourage a breadth of knowledge and differing skills which I enjoyed hugely.

I really like Graphic Design as a course and am really passionate about it. There is more drawing / physical elements in the content than I had expected, and teachers are often brief or unclear on the tasks set ahead and how to get the best grades from your work. read more

Personal tutor never replies to my emails and I’ve only met him once in two years. Most tutors are lovely. Courseload is way too much - 6 weeks for a full brief with two every half semester is like a heavy freight train running us all over. I like the work I produce, but it’s often rushed in panic or stress because of time constraints. Additionally there are way too many people on the course for the number of tutors, meaning the poor tutors are overworked with marking and really struggle (pls help them) read more
