I joined the course considering the reviews of alumini from the university. Though, the course is okay, job prospects are not good after the course. Not recommended if you are not a chartered accountant or without previous forensics experience. read more

Criminology and Forensic Studies, BSc Hons FullTime

This course is fantastic for those interested in CSI, policing and forensic science who want to study their field of interest whilst gaining criminological information. The latter can be dull — as it’s all theory and academic, but the former makes up for it. The lecturers and tutors are brilliant, as many have working experience in their specialist fields, and guest lectures fill the spaces the staff do not. Personal tutors (who lead weekly seminars, making sure you’re up to date) can be hit or miss, but that’s the same with any study. The course content is fantastic, and you’re taught with examples from real crime scenes occasionally. Finding a job offer with this new style of degree seems daunting and finding something more specific than “police officer” or “CSI” is tricky. Overall, this course is fantastic due to the great staff. read more
