The Digital Marketing Enterprise Challenge

StudentCrowd is the UK's most extensive student review platform. We have a passion to help students make decisions.

We have developed an Enterprise Challenge that would not only help your students to develop incredible skills, but enable them to generate student reviews to help future students make the big decisions of university life.

Read on to find out more about how the Challenge works and what students can gain from it!

Developing Enterprising Students

Our Digital Marketing Enterprise Challenge can help your students develop a vast range of important employability skills. For example:

- idea generation skills

- creative problem-solving

- ability to take initiative

- digital marketing skills

Not only that, all students that take part will receive a Digital Marketeering badge to display on their LinkedIn profile, demonstrating the skills they have developed through this Challenge.

What is the StudentCrowd Enterprise Challenge?

Students will work in teams with other students from your university to develop and run their own digital marketing campaign to generateas many student reviews as possible

UCAS research has demonstrated that over 78% of prospective students use reviews to make decisions and cite them as the second most important source of information about a university. The reviews your students generate through this Challenge will directly benefit your future students' decision making.

How will it work?

The structure of the Challenge is flexible. We can run a Challenge for anything from 1 day to 2 weeks, or even embedded as part of a digital marketing module as a live case study. StudentCrowd will provide workshop sessions throughout the Challenge; these should last between 3-4 hours. Students will then need time to work in their teams as well as time to actually deliver their campaign. In total we expect the Challenge totake 7-10 hours

What will students get?

Not only will your students develop fantastic skills to show off to employers, the winning team will receive Amazon vouchers. All participants will gain our Digital Marketeer badges to show off their skills on LinkedIn and beyond.

We do all the hard work

StudentCrowd do all the admin work to register students, assign them to teams and deal with ongoing communications. All we ask from our university partners is to help promote the Challenge to their students. This is usually in the form of 2-3 emails and posting on internal student portals.

“Being a part of the enterprise challenge allowed me to develop my skills and knowledge of digital marketing, while also being able to put my knowledge into practice. Creating our own advertising campaign and social media posts helped me gain important experience which I can use in the future. It was also a great way of meeting other students who were passionate about digital marketing!”
