Harrogate is a fairly chill town, full of families and older folks. No Universities nearby, but plenty of Sixth Forms and Colleges, so there are plenty of 16-19 Year Olds hanging about. Most leave after School or College, and Harrogate is too expensive to live in for young people so is a bit light on 20 somethings. Nights out are therefore full of underage people, although clubs aren't too bad. All the Colleges and Sixth Forms are high performers, so is pretty good for education. Restaurants are sick but Buses and Trains are mostly ancient and expensive, even if they are regular. Taxis cost the earth, as do most things. All in all, can be a great place if you make the most of it.
