The building is equipped with all of the necessary essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Hassells bridge is very independant living and does not have the common room or gym but all residents can come to our other property and use the facilities. Sue and team
Such a cute flat, so cosy and doesn’t feel like student accommodation at all. The management team are always keen to help us if we have any questions or want to put anything in storage. Also the price is unbeatable, barely gone up this year since everything’s gone up. It’s so close to the bus stop and the high street, and Morrisons is a 10 minute walk away (while Aldi and Lidl only 20). Best accommodation I’ve lived in during uni!

I would highly recommend Hassell Bridge Apartments! Susan and Claire (property managers) have been absolutely fantastic and are very easy to speak to and always have tenants welfare and happiness at the top of their priory list. My apartment was completely renovated due to damage from the previous tenant. They didn't go and get second hand appliances or furniture like many do, instead they thoughtfully picked out brand new items and decorated the apartment themselves to make sure it was perfect for when I moved in! A very warm welcome and I know they will always be there if needed. The apartment was furnished beautifully and was deep cleaned before I moved in and I have had no problems at all!

Myself and my flatmate were shown around the flats by Claire, and the whole booking experience couldn't have been easier! The show flat is lovely; so spacious with amazing facilities and a really affordable price. We are looking forward to moving in!

Hassells bridge is not like uni accommodation as relatively everyone keeps themselves to themselves. It is also not like uni accommodation in the fact that apartments are spacious modern and homely. A lot is included in the price. The location is very close to the town and even closer to Newcastle bus station which is perfect to catch the bus to Keele. We are currently going through a process of changing WIFI and so the connection has its troubles and I have had to use my data on some nights but i know this will be solved soon. I had one problem with my tap and reported it and it was fixed the next morning. Sue and Claire are very helpful over email

Since Susan has become the property manager she has been absolutely amazing. My flat was very broken and barely a place you could stay. Once I made Susan aware of the situation she did her up most to ensure when I came back in September that the flat was furnished and looked amazing, which know it does. The standard that Susan has done the flat up to is amazing. It’s amazing to see the little time Susan had and the amount of work there was to do is surprising how she did it. Hassell Bridge is a nice place to live but the team at urban student life do everything to ensure you are happy with everything and you will find they will always ensure they complete the job before they leave.
Wifi was horrendous and it didn’t let me and many other at Hassell bridge attend our online lectures at times. To this day it still has not been fixed. The day I moved in the washing machine, lights, the sink drains, the heating, my bed and the toilet seat were broken and they have only been fixed since the start of this month. There were spider webs all over my room and bathroom. We as a whole sent a petition for a reimbursement of some of the rent we paid as we were not given half of what the contract stated we should get. Our petition was not taken seriously and because of this there will be many reviews from angry tenants, like myself. We ask for a reimbursement of some of rent we paid. It was so terrible that I moved back to my parents home because it was all unbearable. I was even told by the property managers to mail my key over so they can open my door, however since then they have not sent my key back, even when I have been calling them about it week in week out.
This is a really good accommodation, however there is no common room or place to socialise. However you have your own flat and it’s a really nice place to live. There is no where to socialise with other flats, besides going to their flats or them coming to you, but you have a living room which is a nice living space. It’s an amazing location with the town centre and a main bus stop being a 3 minute walk away. Aldi and Morrison’s is also a 5 minute walk away. There is no reception, but things are being done to improve communication which is really good as it was hard to communicate with anyone here. Maintenance was slow at first but as management is improving so is maintenance. My experience is subjective considering factors like corona virus, meaning it had been hard to socialise and go anywhere. It is a good place to live as the pros outweigh the cons.

Terrible is an understatement. Zero organisation from the company "We are student homes" / "Urban Student homes", the estate agents and the owners. Repairs take months if you are lucky (some repairs I am still waiting). Terrible management of COVID. The internet is <5mbps. They send updates that they are fixing fire alarms but can't update us on rent and what they are doing to help us during this time (who knows if we will get any rent rebait). The flat I was in was in a terrible state when I arrived and still is now because a lot of the repairs have yet to happen. If there was more space I would have a whole essay here but oh well. They were offering a £25 amazon voucher for a review so I thought why not! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
