I was here in 2020 (lockdown and covid). I would have preffered to live in cranborne and save money, i made friends there and the vibe was overall more social there. Bailey people kept to themselves. I know it was covid year but honestly you meet the best people in the cheaper / more nasty accoms lol. Uni is about slumming it a bit, I regretted living in the nicest halls because it was just money down the drain.
Bailey point is a very nice accommodation with friendly staff and safe environment.

I’m really enjoying my stay here! The rooms are amazing and the communal areas are lovey! The staff are super nice too!
This place is incredibly modern and an amazing start for a university student looking to get aqcuainted with the town and surrounding area.

Overall great place to live, staff are friendly and always helpful. Close enough to Lansdowne Campus and bus routes to Talbot campus and also close enough to town and the beach
The rooms are a great size with plenty of storage. The kitchen facilities are good. The social spaces are really nice and the reception team are lovely and very helpful. Location is perfect… close to shops, bus stop right outside, town only a short walk and the library is literally next door.
Super friendly reception staff, maintenence issues sorted quickly, lots of in - house events. Great location

Not worth the huge amounts of money you pay for it. I understand COVID had a big impact on usage of communal spaces etc, but even with a tiny discount we still paid for facilities we were not allowed to use. Girls, if you have hair be prepared to spend out on drain unblocking products, otherwise you’ll have maintenance up every other day. Toilets just about managed a half flush most days and in spring, I hope you don’t want a glass of cold water because it’s luke warm at best. Overall 3/5 stars, only 3 points for the location and the fact that when you can use the facilities it might be more worth while.
Hello there, We really appreciate your open and honest feedback. Throughout the pandemic, we have been operating in line with government guidelines, meaning our onsite facilities were closed along with all other facilities across the country. We monitored all updates from the government and responded accordingly. As restrictions eased, we were able to gradually re-open our facilities on a booking only system in order to comply with social distancing and abiding by household and social bubble requirements; whilst also giving our residents a fair opportunity to use our facilities on site. Showers are consistently used on a daily basis. After frequent use, a build up of soap, shampoo, hair and dirt will slowly start to create potential blockages. Our Facilities team are on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have any maintenance issues at all, you can pop down and see a member of our team who will be happy to help. Lifts constantly breaking down, was a hole in my flooring when moving in which was never even addressed. Cheap cupboards that broke with minimal pressure on them. Overall value for money was incredibly poor. Wasn’t allowed to use social areas for majority of the year yes Covid was the cause but would at least expect a rent discount
Hi there. Thank you for your feedback. This enables us to continuously improve the student experience we strive to deliver. From time to time, we may experience technical difficulties with some our facilities, resulting in them being out of service for a short while. During this time, it enables the relevant contractor to rectify the issue as quickly as possible, making the area safe for all our students and team members. If you find any maiantance issues within your bedroom or flat, we have team members on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just pop down to reception to report it and we will fix the issue as soon as possible. COVID – 19 has made life a little bit different for everyone and we have had to make some adjustments to how we use the common spaces during these times. These were set out in several government guidelines. During the thick of COVID-19, all common spaces were to be closed to avoid the spread of the virus. As restrictions lifted slightly, we were able to re-open areas with a flat-by-flat booking system. As a Company, we offered a 50% rent reduction for 6 weeks for the lockdown at the begging of the year for students who were unable to return to the building.
