Unfortunately, the second I pulled up to Bankside house my excitement for starting university disappeared instantly. My experience of living at Bankside was extremely unpleasant and made me very unhappy, especially since moving to uni is such a big step alone! I ended up moving to Gardens as I was so unhappy. My advice is, do not live at Bankside unless you want to struggle making friends due to having no social areas except the laundry room (where the washer breaks on a daily basis), not sleep because of the noise, live in an environment that's way too hot, trek for ages to get to uni on time every day and be worried about walking back from the bus stop alone, especially in the evenings. I would definitely recommend living on campus!!
