Even though renting a room in Paragon is rather expensive, nonetheless it's still much cheaper than renting a room elsewhere in london, especially as a student. The location is rather good as it's about a 2 minute walk to Brentford train station, and there are plenty transport links such as Boston Manor tube and buses, thus making getting around london a breeze. Flats get cleaned weekly by cleaners, which helps the kitchen from being a complete mess all of the time. There is a social space called the Hub where students can gather and hang out somewhere else rather than there flats, where there is a pool table, sofa's, vending machines, a television etc. There is also decking above the hub which is nice to sit on a hot day however most people still end up just being in there flats. There is also unlimted internet in your bedroom which is free and rather fast!
The walls make your room look like a prison cell and you might find a few "unidentifiable" stains about. It really is a god awful place but has some of the most characterful people on campus, be sure if you go to Faraday you don't mind a few late nights.
