Hall was wonderful. Very spacious room and modern kitchen facilities. Only criticism would be of the lack of room for socialising with others apart from the kitchen and a lack of social space in the hall to interact with other residents of the hall.
Gowar has the best bedrooms, and the en-suite bathroom is very nice. I can't tell if the bathroom floors are supposed to be heated but they're warm. It's okay if you don't like your flatmates, I never see mine and I still have a fun time cooking alone and eating in my room. I visited Wedderburn once and it was awful, there were odd cracks in the walls and a lift button was missing. It looked like Gowar but if it had been neglected and inhabited by the campus squirrels. I like Gowar and recommend it because the wifi is good.
I absolutely loved my room in Gowar, it was so spacious and it was like my safe haven. The grass between Gowar and Wedderburn was nice too because you can have picnics out there on a summer's day which I did several times! Love this hall!
Really beautiful modern halls - nicer than Butler/Williamson/Tuke as its in its own area opposite Wedderburn with a green in the middle. Kitchens nice and spacious, rooms big with double bed and good ensuite (better than Runnymede!) No common room so socialising revolves around the kitchen so gathering with other flats tends to be in one person's flat with everyone's chairs. More of a walk to lectures than I thought but still closer than most.
Everyone is very sociable due to the layout of the flats. The place felt like home after a few months and the rooms facing the lawn had a wonderful view every morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. Could do with a common room however, as there was nothing like that at all...
