Worst place I’ve ever lived. Flat was disgusting when I moved in, clearly had not been cleaned (ever by the state of it) not only was it dirty the flat STANK and since moving out have discovered that all my belongings now stink so have had to wash everything. The general finishing of the flat is poor with the toilet roll holder coming off the wall, the towel rail is wobbly, door handles not sitting flush to the door. Many things just seemed down right dangerous - the oven sparking and tripping the electrics, to discover that the electric isolation switches aren’t even in the flat and the oven switch is hidden under the bottom board, the bathroom lights are on sensors so if you shower too long the lights go out so you’re stuck in the shower in pitch black. Staff sent rude, passive aggressive emails as if we were 5 years old, so unprofessional, I gave up with them in the end. Luckily I was not there long, couldn’t imagine having to live there for a year!
The accommodation was actually Exchange Works, Arundel Street but that doesn’t seem to be an option on here. The location of the halls was absolutely spot on. It was on the same street at the university which is perfect. Reception got things fixed immediately and the room was such a perfect size
I'm a first year student and I wanted a place that was close to the uni and shops. This place fits perfectly with that in mind and also the room space is amazing, ensuite's spacious and is defiantly not a wet room. Great value for money
