Do NOT live here unless you want to deal with a company that enjoys taking their time. Poor management has left multiple flats in the building with outdated routers, meaning absolutely NO internet. It took three weeks for us to be given a date for repair, but even when the day came we were told that the engineer had already left the building without fixing our internet. People living here are nice, about the only thing making this place worth it. Stay here, but only as a last resort.
The place is nice and quite close to the university. My furniture is new and good to use, no big problem when moving here. However it's only fun when you are a sociable person, because people might get in your apartment quite usually. It seems like has no private at all (or that because of my roommates) . The wifi is terrible at night, when it is the time I need it the most. Not recommend for someone who needs a quiet room or has a timid, shy character.
Smaller flats makes it a more intimate community. The main difference between our place and others is that you have a shared bathroom but, we as a group of 4, have absolutely no problems. As well as that we are across the road from a sainsburys local which is super handy. You clean the place, after all we are supposed to be independent. It's very safe with 3 doors to get into your flat, alongside cctv. I am currently living in a newer flat so we have proper wooden furniture which is absolutely lovely. Finally, unlike courts we have 3/4 of a double beds which is brilliant because we can spread out.
amazingly social, great people and always people to chat to and people around. everyone knows how to party. The wifi has got better and is virgin now and its in such a good area, west end and actually affordable, about the same as a house if not cheaper. bigger might be better to meet more first years though
Brayford court is a small and very social Block. The new landlord is keen to upgrade the features with a more modern look. Lighthouse are also becoming much better with dealing with issues. Perfect for 2nd and 3rd years bit isolated for freshers.
As one of the smaller accommodations in lincoln not many people have heard of it, it's great value for money wih spacious rooms and in a great location. There are double beds in every room and. Spacious outside communal area. With it being small I found it to be a very social place in which everyone knows everyone. Only downside is - lighthouse properties manage it.
