Read Sansome Hall Reviews
Where to begin with this shamble of an accomodation. If I knew it would be this bad here, I wouldn't have came to uni here. Simple as. I'd type more but the review has a character limit So location is good for clubs and shopping. That's it. Rooms are very small, they used to be offices. Price is ridiculous. £134 A WEEK Kitchen is pathetic, cooker can only hold two trays at a time, and 1 cooker, 2 fridges and freezers 1 sink, 1 washer and dryer has to go between 9 people and the kitchen is just a tiny refitted room Internet is awful,(wired and wireless) I have emailed about this every 2 weeks for a year and they have never fixed. The i.t support is barely existant and absolutely useless Accomodation regularly ignore emails. We went 3 days without water we went 2 weeks without a washing machine, after being promised it would be fixed 'asap' No security, only one camera in flat one, the only thing that stops people getting into your flat is 2 glass doors and. Scary.
The room's are very nice though they can get cold. The kitchen is large and found that we would spend most of our time in there as a flat socializing. Water didn't work multiple times in the year and were stuck with cold water quite often. WiFi signal was bad when it did work. Ethernet connection was very good. Hallway separator door alarm would beep often.
It's good being located in the city as you are close to the town and also the night life. It gets you away from the uni campus so you aren't surrounded all the time. The en-suite's are very nice and the room sizes are decent. Easily make friends with the flats surrounding you and its a nice environment to live it!!!!
This place is terrible! The place is terrible quality, what's not in awful condition doesn't work. In our side of the halls there is a lift (that has been out of operation more than it has been in operation) therefore we don't have any social space apart from a kitchen with air con (yeah you guessed it, that also doesn't work.) My room has no wifi connection so writing essays and work has been near impossible when researching. Poorly cleaned on the exterior of the building and the University have extortionate prices to guarantee you don't get your deposit back. To add insult to injury the money you pay each week for this place is not worth what you get out. If there is any advice I'm to give you it is don't stay here. I try at every chance to go home or visit my girl friend just to get away from this crap hole.
