The environment here is very comfortable, with a Tesco just five minutes away. The nights are quiet, and some rooms get direct sunlight in the morning, making it very comfortable.

Thank you for the 5* review! The team at Riverside will be delighted to hear how comfortable you feel at your home away from home!
Some of the most lovely, welcoming and helpful staff I’ve ever experienced! I truly feel at home in my accommodation and couldn’t be happier
We are so happy to hear you are loving your stay at Riverside, our staff are amazing! We’re really grateful and appreciate you taking the time to share your rating with us.
Visited Riverside Way for 10 days in the summer between tenancies. Naturally, there weren't a lot of people to come by so I can't speak about the social aspect but the amenities were good for the price with a nice clean kitchen and ok room. A Tesco nearby is definitely a plus but the location overall is not great. 10min to get a bus and 30min to the train station by foot. Great for a shorter stay I think!
Riverside way I had a good experience living in Riverside the rooms are very accommodating to students have lots of storage space and the receptionists are very nice. Especially jade who was always willing to have a chat and very accommodating for any problem I may have had.
Everything’s are perfect here.
I’ve loved living here, great room, friendly staff, brilliant location and made friends for life. Thank you for making my time at university!
PLEASE do not pick this property!!! The Management team is useless. They are rude and they do not take their residents seriously. I have have had multiple maintanance problems and they have been neglected. They show a strong sense of poor communication and no sense of respecting their residents. Please do not book! it is not worth the money
The worst experience. Stuff are very rude, like the prison police. They are particularly unfriendly to visitors. They will never let your parents live in. Not even one day. One day, I called my friends to come to my party and forgot to sign in. A security stuff pointed at all of us and said how could you not sign in and get out. Every time my girlfriend came over, they would prevent her from entering, with a bad attitude. Once my girlfriend stayed in my house for a week, the employee told her not to come again. I accidentally cut my finger this year. The stuff downstairs were not trained for emergencies. So they did not do anything. Finally, I had to call a taxi myself to take me to the A&E. So I wanted to move out. I asked a refund, but I didn’t expect them to say that if I want to talk about a refund, I need a lawyer to meet them in court. The cooker hood has been broken for three months and we have reported repairs countless times. No one came to repair it.
I have been living here since last two years and since last year my room flooded many times due to shower leakage and no attention is given and on several requests i have been asked to vacate the room in the middle of my semester and the management attitude is very negative to compansate me for my rent due to this.My kitchen flooded many time.I highly recommend to stay away from this and find elsewhere.
Nice rooms and facilities. The common room is amazing and reception area is welcoming. However I do wish I could've actually shared these spaces with my friends/family without feeling like I'm constantly being watched/told off. They are not too happy about guests visiting frequently, which as a first year student is very hard to get around because you're trying to meet new people and make new friends. I've had bad experiences having friends over (who do not live at Riverside way) being told to leave the common room as they dont live there. It feels very unwelcoming and makes the cost of living here feel a bit pointless. Although if you're happy not having much of a social aspect where you live, or you prefer to go out instead, this is probably a good place for you to live. Also, if you live on the side facing the industrial estate, its almost impossible to sleep with your window open because of the noise, which is a problem because the building gets very hot.
place was v clean, amazing people, amazing atmosphere. water leaks though
Riverside way is a great place to live, it's not on campus but is only a short 10 minute walk to the university (Winchester School of Art). The communal areas are very spacious and the facilities downstairs in the common room make it easy to make friends and play a game of pool or on the play station. I would live here anything year if I could!
