Rooms are really beautiful . The building is perfectly located with a short walk to town, bus station, and the train station. Receptionists are friendly and easy to talk to and solve things quickly. Lacks social spaces in comparison to other accomodations and is a bit on the pricier side but it is a wonderful place to stay and I'd recommend :)

For added comfort, there is an on-site maintenance team, a 24-hour on-site team, secure access, and CCTV. There are no hidden costs, as all utility bills are included in the rental price.

We're happy for tenants to have guests at the property during the day. Our students have to come to the front door to let you into the building and to their rooms to ensure the safety of our other tenants. Tenants can also entertain guests overnight although they can only stay for 2 nights within a period of a week.

I do enjoy living here however the costs are just too much for someone living off of a student loan, but that is an issue students will face everywhere so overall it still is a good place to live

Coppergate is super comfortable to live in and the location is perfect with shops, the beach, the bus station and the train station with a 10-minute walk. The staff is amazing super welcoming and warm. However, I do feel like the prices have been climbing up with not much being changed about the building which

It's also lovely to hear those kind words about the staff. :) Unfortunately prices do rise year on year to ensure that we can maintain the comforts that you have become accustomed to while staying with us. However, we do take feedback into account and will escalate the criticism of our prices. :)
I have lived at Coppergate for the past 4 years and have loved the experience. The staff are always wonderful and supportive, I could not fault them. However the recent change in company has had a drastic effect on the quality of the property: reducing the sociability of the property, the cleanliness has become poor and more and more so is the privacy of the student spaces is being invaded.
It's so lovely that you have spent 4 years of your university experience with us. :) We love that you have shared this experience with us and thank you for your kind words about the staff. It means a lot to us. Transforming from Prime to Mezzino has meant some changes for staff and tenants alike, and we have been trying to find a new way forward together, merging our old ways with the new. Hopefully you feel things are settling down now. I'm unsure what invasions of privacy you're referring to but there are standard health and safety checks that have to be carried out in all rooms regularly. You're more than welcome to come and talk to us if there has been an incident in particular that you have been inconvenienced by. As for the social aspects of the building, we have some great news. We're in the midst of working out a new Mezzino social calendar to bring back some of those things we've all been missing! Keep your eyes peeled for posters and emails to give you more information! :)
Tenant of 4 years, building has been wonderful since moving in, until the last few months which massively changed my overwhelmingly positive sentiment regarding the buildings value for money and living conditions. Property manager is a wonderful lady named Nina that has been here since my first day. She is always available to help when and where she can, she’s fab.

Miss the student social events that used to be provided since moving on from prime student living there been no events and it’s unlikely that there will be. Just wish they would be brought back like treat days or bingo or quiz nights.
The change over from Prime to Mezzino has taken a little time to sort out but I have some great news for you, we'll be bringing back some of those treat days and social events that you've missed! We've just done an Easter egg hunt to win chocolate and are working on our social calendar for the next few months. Keep your eyes peeled for those posters and emails about upcoming events! :)

It is a nice accommodation, located in the heart of city centre. It has all the basic facilities with good maintenance culture. I recommend it to people with good taste for comfortable accommodations.
I am lucky to choose Coppergate for staying. It is one of the best student accommodation in swansea. It is located at the heart of swansea city centre and singleton campus is easily accessible. The staff is extremely friendly and they help you with everything that you need. It gives a feeling of home. The rules they set for tenants are practicable, nobody can harm you. It is a safest place to live.

I am using my review as a way to address another review I have seen below. Coppergate is right next to a bus station, as well as a bus line that takes you straight to Bay Campus or Singleton. Its a lovely 30 minute walk to Singleton if you cant get the bus for whatever reason. The comment about it being 'not managed well, contractors everywhere, people painting and a lift that never works' does not reflect my experience at all. There was one occasion where the lift was dropping which was resolved in the next week. I was only charged £10 off my deposit which is pretty well going considering a lot of student accommodations will find a way to keep their deposits. 'Parties banned' and 'threat of expulsion' was simply not true, I think the response from the building was for our own safety, there was no threat of expulsion.
Great place to live, good sized rooms and a nice social area. Dan and Nina are lovely & so helpful.
My experience in a nutshell was all round quite satisfied especially with location, various services and the newly built facility itself. However, as an international student, who had to cut short his stay due to the series of lockdowns, i wasn't happy with the refund on such special occasion.
Similar expense to St David's and bay with similar quality. Too far from both campuses to be worth it. Not managed well, contractors everywhere, people painting and a lift that never works. Left my room cleaner than when I arrived and still charged £30. Parties banned, nothing happening downstairs (covid) with threat of expulsion for allowing people into the building. Internet was good tho! :) same device on WiFi and ethernet counted as two devices tho :'( (big sad)
