In general, I'd suggest not looking at uni accommodations at all. I'm dead serious. Most private ones are better equipped and have greater value for their price. I paid £115/week, and as far as I'm aware Broad Lane has no advantages compared to nearby halls for that price (there are not even social/study spaces/bike storage, and the laundry machines never work). I do not recommend it, go look at something else.

This is not the place to come if you like to be with all the other students, but a great location!
You are were you need to be! In the city centre, 4 minutes away from uni
Decent value for money and good central location (for lectures and going out), however lacks a sense of community due to no communal spaces.
Everything is absolutely great. Can't believe how lucky I am to live 5 mins from the SU and 10 from the city centre. The building is great, the flats are great and rooms are big enough if you don't wanna throw parties in there.
Great location
(+) Ideal location. Big rooms. (-) No common room (no TV, sofas,...). No social areas.
Great in terms of cost, location etc, but there was no social area apart from the kitchen and was very small in regards to the amount of people living there and nearby. Lacking in the social side
