Great if you want a cheap place to live, has all the bare essentials. The environment outside is pretty shit, durggies tend to group around the front door and in the alley in the back which isn't great if you get back at night. The kitchen and bathroom and good enough. The sofas in the kitchen are leather with the leather peeling off, the stove is REALLY dirty but clean enough to use. There's Ethernet and wifi for free which is nice. Social experience is only good if you have a group chat since there's so many people in the building as well as your own floor. The cleaners will only clean the kitchen and bathroom for free weekly. With halford house being in the city centre, the location is great but be cautious of all the surrounding noise of cars and people shouting.

Fairly central location but area is quite dodgy outside. No wifi. Cleaners do very little cleaning. Virtually no security or control by the landlord. Absolutely dreadful, avoid at all costs.

Cleaner isn't great, lack of wifi is annoying but it's in a great location 5 minutes from campus, 5 minutes from the shops, near bus station and trams. With Train station on the other side of the campus. Also the cheapest halls available at Hallam.
