The halls are quite alright for their price, and you do have active management staff who help with issues. They do take up action quickly and are very helpful and understanding. The common room areas are not that well equipped in Headford, as the kitchens are quite limited with space, but you can still meet people from the halls quite easily. Wifi is fast, when it works. There have been improvements done and it is currently working quite well. If you want to live in a place that is close to both campuses, but also has easy access to shops, tram and train station, this is definitely a good choice for that. Cleaning gets one star currently as there were some issues of the cleaners not always attending as according to the contract, and the place is covered in the smell of bleach after they leave, to the point of students needing to air out the hallway and common areas after it. But that means at least they clean it? ;D
We loved this place cos we were in a small flat and the girls I lived with were clean and tidy! Most important for us was safety but our door were individually locked as was the flat door then the main entrance door. And theres locked gates to the complex. We had a couple of times when our boiler broke down but it was fixed quickly. Some of our friends had ensuite in their rooms but were paying 30 quid more a week. Met some great people. Fab
S*** WiFi, *** security. Complaints ate hardly ever addressed. We had mice in the kitchen, I'm basically living next door. If you want a cheap accommodation that feels like a dirty hostel and will ruin first year, hit up headford. P.s. You pay for the cleaner to come every two weeks, you're lucky if they even come every month and the laundry room is the grossest thing I have ever seen. Not. Gnarly.
