Lovely halls, very new and stylish, just a shame about the people who you end up sharing with and they halls didn't do anything to rectify a lot of issues. Also, the left was always broken. They're also quite pricey for just a room and a bathroom, but I suppose most halls are.

The halls here are fair. It's the cheapest en-suite rooms available so there are some draw backs. Like not all the carpets are properly fitted and the locks can be quite stiff as well. A few things were broken in my flat when I arrived but were such minor things it barely mattered. As for the cleanliness of the flat, I think that depends on you and the flatmates you get. It wasn't cleaned that well when I arrived but it was acceptable. The location is fantastic because you're so close to everything like all the shops and university buildings. The library is roughly five minutes (walking) and the train station is about ten. There is a bit of noise at night sometimes but it is a town centre so I suppose that is to be expected. The rooms are nice and fairly spacious. Although the mattress is kinda springy and the drain in the shower is weird so you can't spend too long in there without overflowing onto the bathroom floor Overall, there are some issues but they're easily fixed.
not worth investing. random selection of incongruent dorm mates that are vastly different culturally which cause a lot of communication issues.
Perfect location
Put in with people with mental problems, I wish that was me overreacting but seriously
Elevator constantly breaking, and was not fitted with legal requirements by law. This meant we were in a broken elevator for almost 2hrs with no emergency phone in the lift (it had been taken out at the beginning of the year because supposedly someone had used it) and no mobile phone signal and there was no security on duty between the hours of 6 and 9 (the incident happened around 6:30!) Halls looked nice and other than that was adequate
Awful halls and rubbish management.
For Preston it's good but I've seen a lot better available for other universities
Room had tiles and paint missing. Mould was growing in the cupboard. Door lock and window broke and were not replaced until I left. Overall poorly built and no help from the management.

Excellent facilities, lovely interior, decent room sizes, only 3 flats per floor so easy to become friends with neighbours. Close to uni and shopes
