Make the most of what you can and it will be great
I loved living in Boughey!
The halls were fine, kept tidy only issue with boughey was the social areas. It was either the thin hall or someones bedroom
I loved living in Boughey, it’s relatively central to the campus and a great view! There is no common room, we only have the halls and our rooms to socialise in, would be nice if there was more of a communal and social area.
It's what you make of it, it's in a very central location and although my room is rather narrow I soon made it homely. The area itself is not the best but I've not known anyone be attacked etc. The common area and kitchen spaces are big but the electric stoves rake the mic. The tele is rather small too. The building is maintained well and things are done quickly if there is a problem. The wifi has been awful, despite the fact they said they will fix it, I have seen no real improvement in a month but luckily the library is very near by. I share a bathroom and this hasn't been a problem at all, everyone keeps it clean and the cleaners do a great job. The noise on a night can be a bit of a problem if you aren't used to living in a city and the walls are rather thin. I'm really enjoying my time here because of the people who live here and how central we are. I recommend this building if you are social and want to be out doing things.
