I have been having an amazing experience at Nottingham Two! The location is quite near Jubilee Campus which is great to commute. We have tons of events and games organised throughout the year so you could get together and participate and make new friends. Overall 10/10!

Absolutely horrendous, I have been taken advantage of firstly starting with my acceptance of the lease. I asked if they could change my tenancy before I pay the deposit and the helpline instructed me to do so but when I called back regarding this enquiry they stated nothing could be done so I was mislead. Then I tried to cancel and change my booking at £9.6K is too much for me but they stated nothing could be done out of the 24hr period in which I did contact within that window. Third issue, the room and block in which I was allocated are absolutely horrendous for £189 per week. The mould, stained bedroom walls, wet room shower, damaged kitchen, block door doesnt lock. I’ve. Sent continuous emails to them and phone calls and I’ve been ignored. I am an 18 year old who’s had no parental help I believe my naivety has been taken advantage of and I’ve been scammed. They’re refusing to move me to another block meanwhile paying the price of a studio whilst being in a horendousen-suite bronze

Service sound be good... many time i have isssue regarding maintenance and i have to raise single issue many time to get it sorted... it took 6 months to get my rooms mat cleaned.

I’ve had an amazing time so far. Nottingham Two has been my second home since joining 1st year undergraduate in September 2023. The staff are very kind and willing to help. Unlike other accommodations, there are no extra charges for bills so everything is quite orderly. Interestingly, I have met my friends in the most random places like in the laundry room or even in the left. Nottingham two made me feel welcome and I would recommend it to anyone new in town. It is surely your best bet :)

Good location, shops are within convenience. The facilities are lovely, although there is a bit of a problem with silverfish in rooms. Management could do with a bit of work, some are dismissive and take ages to come back to you regarding issues.
Location is amazing. Good Expereince, however maintenance could be better! Big, spacious rooms and kitchens, social spaces are a nice way to work or relax.
Overall it is a great experience living here. We do have more maintenance issues, Once complained it is not rectified in less than 10 days. Poor wifi. But overall we have great social spaces It feels like home.
Great accomodation for students who will be studying in the university of Nottingham. It's in the centre of the street with easy access to Jubilee campus, lidl, and Domino's.

A great property with very spacious rooms and a modern kitchen. There are several communal areas of fantastic quality which I recommend using. The staff are very kind and friendly, some issues can take a long time to be sorted but this may be just to do with the size of the Student Quarter or perhaps a small maintenance team. The location is phenomenal with Lidl only one minute away and Aldi, B&M and Poundland only a five minute walk from the property. Jubilee Campus is also within a short walking distance which makes commuting to lectures very easy. Access to the city centre is regular and reliable with a nearby bus stop that takes you directly into the city. It is also possible to walk from Nottingham Two to the city Center in about 30 minutes which makes getting back late at night even easier.
Staying at Nottingham Two is a great experience. Great facilities like gym, common room and a study room.

The apartment is really bad, and it is very slow to respond, and it is deliberately delayed. I sublet my apartment before, and the subtenant has paid the deposit and rent, but the deposit I have paid is intentionally in arrears. You sent me an email asking about the progress and did not reply to me. My friend replied to me the next day when he asked other questions! Deliberately dragging not owe rent and deposit, the experience is very poor! I'll have to prepare for the legal route. International students must not book this apartment, the process is slow, refund overdue, call the progress of poor attitude and perfunctory, once directly hung up my phone
Awful accommodation that takes advantage of students, charging them through the nose to live in awful conditions. Some applicances in the flat were either broken (extractor fan) or missing (toaster) on arrival, and despite being reported they haven't been fixed after months and I suspect never will be. The carpet in the kitchen in disgusting with what looks like vomit stains on it. Again it was reported but was never solved. The staff are very nice and I have nothing against them but it is clear that they are very understaffed so they just don't address problems and hope the students don't complain about it. Room size is good but the ensuite is so small its almost unusable. The furniture is also not new and high enough quality to charge the extortionate prices this place does. Even the launderette charges over £5 for a single wash and dry which is just predatory. Don't know how the person that manages this place sleeps at night.
DO NOT STAY HERE. Honestly this place made me the most stressed out miserable person. Student Roost lack empathy and the reception staff are the most incapable. It is not worth the money and it has been so difficult to get my deposit back, if I do get it back because most of the other reviews say they haven't gotten theirs back either. We were not informed about the construction work beforehand and I have had no compensation despite some other residents saying that they have been given money if they had construction outside of their window. There were so many maintenance issues which took forever to fix. In addition to this, I am a girl who was put with 3 boys on my first year, and when I asked to move, they apparently had no rooms left, but when I gave the keys back they said 'Oh you should've told us sooner, we shouldn't have put you in there'. The whole experience has been atrocious and the company has treated me awfully even after my stay.
I was super disappointed with Nottingham Two. As far as accommodations go, its not cheap, which I was ok with at first because I thought that would at least mean it was nice and well taken care of. Maybe it's just because we were the covid year but I can't really see that being all too relevant. Our oven in our flat didn't work for the first 2 months, despite us regularly asking for a new one. Our fridge also broke towards the end of the year and we were promised a new one within a week but unsurprisingly it never arrived. The lift in our block was broken for two terms, and none of the locks on the doors to the block worked. Also, don't get the silver room instead of the bronze!!! the difference is literally negligible (the bed is like 2 inches bigger but that's it). One good thing I will say is the wifi was fast (most of the time), and most of the staff were v nice. I have been to my friend's accommodations and theirs were all cheaper and a lot nicer than Nottingham Two.
It was definitely not what i signed up for. the security was poor with random people not residents of the building hanging out and smoking on site. the management took no action and asked us to call the police if we had a problem. upon arrival my room had a cobweb and the entire hallway was dirty with trash bags. we had random staff entering our flat without prior notice at odd hours.

Wake up to builders drilling on my window every day resulting in my room vibrating and being unable to here any lessons! So expensive compare to other accommodations No refunds or rents stopped during covid pandemic No hot water in kitchen sinks, bathroom sinks or showers for at least 6 different instances of over 3 days.
Great place for living！5min to Jubliee Campus, very close to the Lidl and Tesco market. Also, have nice receptionist to solve any problem you have!

Easy access to the uni and other facilities
The worst experience I have ever had!!! It is a literal construction site, which were weren’t given adequate notice about before signing the contract, I have had to spend money to go home to sit my exams because the drilling is so loud that I can’t hear myself think. Studying has been a nightmare. Construction across the river will be going on until December 2021, but it feels like it’s just outside your room it’s so loud!! Next, security: Phoned up a few times about broken security gates (gate outside accomodation and the one leading into accomodation just lets you in). Have been broken for at least 2 months and are not still broken despite asking for it to be fixed. There have also been hot water problems: The hot water was awful when we first came, never knew when it was going to go off, at one point we were left without it for days. The toilet drain pipe smells no matter how much you clean the toilet and use freshener etc. The list goes on..

The one thing I can say good about this place is that the rooms are a nice size and staff are nice. However, we didn’t have a bin when we arrived and it took 6 weeks for them to give us one ( other flats had fridges that didn’t work and hobs that didn’t work). We were told that cleaners would come and clean every few weeks and never got that. We have had issues with fire alarms going off because they are directly above the cooking area - so the smallest bit of steam makes them go off. You get an en-suite my toilet is extremely hard to flush and the water smells no matter how many diffusers etc you use. The worst thing though is the ongoing construction - that we were told about 2 weeks before we arrived and not before we applied and signed the contracts even though I went and saw the place in person and was still not warned. The construction is extremely loud drills. The water stopped working in a block for days meaning no showers, water and can’t wash dishes! Impossible to do exams :(
Despite such a difficult period for COVID-19, some services are in place!
Hot water constantly not working for the first couple months of my stay here. Once that had been sorted, the building work started from 8-5 everyday and is unbearably noisey. Social aspect here isn’t great either due to the size of the kitchens. Multiple people I know have silverfish in their rooms (including mine). Only pros are the location, due it being near the jubilee campus, a gym and Lidl’s. Much better accommodations available at a lower cost
Awful management, especially when deciding to build onto the site at exam times, meaning unbearable noise.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so miserable living here. The noise from construction lasting until 2022 and cladding repairs until December 2021 has literally made me cry. Student roost lack the empathy of normal humans and I’m convinced they are dead inside. I genuinely do not recommend staying here. Not worth the money, stay elsewhere. And if they reply, I’ve been through your complaint system and you metaphorically spat in my face.
Loads of space and in a good area being above lidl and not too far from town centre. Only negative would be the construction work that has been ongoing from 8 until around 5. Ridiculously loud so early. Can’t sleep or work from the times the construction starts.

Just choose somewhere else. Student Roots treatment of those living here during coronavirus has just been awful. There is construction work that will be going on until December 2021 - Directly outside of your window. We have been dealing with it for 6 months already. Further there is construction opposite that is going on until late 2022. The rooms themselves are nice and big, but the shower is mediocre. Good internet, especially when on ethernet. Management, repair, communication in general is awful. Had a non-working hob, reported it in October, fixed in January. Have had no extractor fan for 3 months, after reporting it. E block had no hot water for multiple weekends. Any apologies are just crap. A really toxic company. Just go elsewhere :)
Very close to supermarket and campus
Staff could not be less helpful and friendly. Had hot water problems for over 4 months and constant building works that will be going on for over a year that wasn't disclosed before hand. So inflexible and disinterested in students especially in a pandemic. Wouldn't deliver my covid test and couldn't care less about cleaning and mental health during covid either.
The studio is not worth the money.. the fire alarm goes off several times in a day , it mainly because this property has not provided proper ventilated windows.. I spoke to the reception about it, they where very unfriendly. Also when I moved in, the reception did not guide me with anything.
I had a very good experience at Nottingham Two. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Khadija at the reception. She has been quite helpful during my stay at Nottingham Two.
I have trouble speaking English, I’m from Asia. The person who works at the reception named jack, is very rude and has made me feel so low because of my English. He was very aggressive towards and made me feel scared. This is not only my complaint but most of my friends are really scared and upset by him.

Worry that some 5 star reviews on here might be by student roost!! N2 is Good location and gd for food shops. Bedrooms ok. Kitchen/ dining area depressing v poor. Gym ok . Washing machines not enough and often faulty. If you have friends in notts already the these flats ok - if not don’t go here! Large chinese student base who don’t mix or even talk outside own group - not even thank you if you hold doors open etc that’s a sad state of affairs. Some reception staff great.

Covid-19: They gave a discount on some of the third terms payment (from May 1st) but have still charged for time where students were not living in accommodation as lock down had already begun and most people had already moved back home.
The staff at Nottingham Two have been really kind and supportive during my stay here. They are all friendly and easy to talk to whenever you have a problem and will never make you feel like you are alone. They really do take into consideration any problems you have like they dealt with mine by helping me change rooms due to some flat issues. Only staying for gym. But that too needs an upgrade, machines dont work.
Roommates very quiet, silent at all hours of day and night. Bed comfortable, but an odd size (3/4 double) which made linen very hard to fit. Kitchen well-equipped and cleaned regularly; appliance problems sorted within the week even in the case of large appliances such as the oven. Unfortunately, maintenance of the site in general is very lacking. One key-fob scanner did not function properly for the entire duration of my stay. One of the car park gates' electromagnetic locking panels (i.e. what keeps it shut) has been missing entirely for several months, meaning anyone can just waltz in! Overall, however, I recommend it.
Nottingham Two has been a wonderful space to live in, the location has been great with easy access to uni, city center and grocery shopping that’s just less than a minute away. It’s been a great experience with regard to facilities and the company hosting great events and free food continuously to make everyone feel at home. Special thanks given to the cleaning team that was always there for a deep clean whenever requested when some people moved out. My studio is extremely small compared to others. Given the price this is very unfair. Things are also outdated and need upgrading. Bathroom area. Shower is old and constantly drips. Curtains was so dirty and dusty. Clearly a thorough clean was not done. I have washed the curtains, cleaned the box the bed is on, removed LOTS of dust from the tops of cupboards and the window frames. Definitely these areas were not cleaned before I moved in
Lived here for my first year at uni, would highly recommend, staff all lovely and always there to help (excellent responsive maintenance team) and activities throughout the year are a great extra, studied on University park campus and the free hopper bus there was a short 7min walk away - will definitely miss living there

DO NOT STAY HERE. they just want to take your money and they don't care if your room has problems. Many rooms were dirty and had broken equipment in the kitchen when our contract started in September which is unacceptable. They didn't even check if the room / apartment was in an appropriate situation. When you tell them the situation they just respond with " We have 1000 rooms and not enough staff, wait", and this waiting takes at least 2 months. Guess what, if you can't satisfy basic needs (kitchen, cleanness, hot water, bathroom facilities) hire more people or manage the whole property better. Also cold air comes inside the rooms from the windows in the winter (along with weed!) and in addition to the heater that can work for only two hours and then you have to re-turn it on, sleeping here during cold months is really bad. I had to wake up from the cold every two hours for the heater, otherwise the next day I was feeling sick. I wish someone had warned me better! Good luck

A good location for the university
Pretty bad place to stay. Very expensive for what it is. Room is basic like a rabbit hutch. Kitchen was gross when I got here and had to clean it myself. Other flatmates rooms weren't fully clean; especially the toilets. They seem to separate UK and international students by country which is a tad weird. Only had cold water for 7 weeks. We were not reimbursed. If you have lectures and seminars in jubilee it's pretty convenient, if you have to go to uni park it's ball ache. Lidls is close by which is nice enough but aside from that there is little to do here. Common room is basic and the pool table is pretty bad. Considering we pay over £140 a week it's a Rip off. Washing facilities are shocking. Expensive and never work properly leaving your clothes still dirty and wet while still taking your money. Oh and the dryers don't dry. It's a pretty awful place to live. Most people here don't like it here and I wouldn't ever stay again. I think I'd be better off in a cardboard box at uni park
Too expensive for what it offers. Majority of rooms in September were really dirty and uncleaned for the new tenants. Some people of the staff are arrogant and never do what they tell you they will do, or they do it after 1-2 months. Too much noise from other rooms (wall too thin) and weed smell comes into rooms. Overall nice building and common room but poor management, and problems with equipment, cleaning, noise and smell. Not recommended.

Love Nottingham Two - Amazing staff
Nottingham two is in the centre of the self catered accommodation that belongs to the university of Nottingham. The staff are great and are constantly putting on events and things to get you to socialise. It’s in a great location with the free university hopper bus at jubilee to park campus being a ten minute walk away. The social space is lovely and compared to the university owened self catered accommodation (Raleigh and St. Peter’s court) Nottingham two is great value for money and the rooms are massive
Before booking your room CHECK AND DOUBLE CHECK everything the staff say/promise, including senior staff or even the Area Manager. I had booked a room very early, promised a certain type of room but on the day I moved in I was given an inferior room. Complaining to senior manger simply resulted in a rude email saying I could basically go look somewhere, GREAT !! ...NOT, I was starting my third year,
I spent two years at Nottingham Two, and it's been survivable. The room and internet are great, being better than most student houses. Location is good for shopping, but it's quite some distance from uni. Drugs are a problem in the accommodation, affecting the smell of my room most nights. The staff have made some effort to solve this but it seems they're unwilling to evict tenants who repeatedly do this, as it never ends. Noise is major issue, I've had several sleepless nights due to neighbours playing music until 5am. Calling security solved this issue, but only temporarily. Rent is too high for the quality of the accommodation. Money is wastefully spent on redecorating reception and common room, buying snacks for reception, holding social events which only 5-10 people turn up to. Staff are mediocre, often grumpy and disrespectful to the tenants. Washing is very pricey and the machines often break, ruining your clothes. I don't recommend this accommodation, especially for 1st years.
Very nice experience. But some of the washers and cleaners in common room should be fixed or taken place, cause they don't work well.
I was not very satisfied with my bathroom as it was not one of those with cubes but with shower curtain and for some reason there was always a leakage of water from my bathroom.
