Norfolk Terrace is the best place to go and that's coming from someone that had their own en-suite place before! Sharing bathrooms is honestly not as terrible as it sounds- it makes it more sociable and they're cleaned regularly. The size of the rooms are great compared to other expensive accommodations and the location is amazing (lake view every morning!!) You'll be in the centre of campus so near the laundrette, SU shop, lecture halls, library etc. The windows are massive and you get an amazing view from everywhere in the flat. The only thing I'd complain about is limited freezer space due to living with loads of people. The positive thing about this is that you're bound to get along with someone- people that are in NT are almost always sociable. For the price, the experience of this accommodation is definitely worth it. The aesthetics of The Ziggurats might not be as great as other places but you're not at uni for that! You'll have the best time at NT and save hella money :)

If your looking for cheap accommodation with a great social aspect meeting lots of people then ziggs is the one. But as it’s quite old and doesn’t have a private toilet need to think about that.

For me it is by far the best place on campus, great for socialising. Everyone in NT was so friendly and the view is also amazing!
Norfolk terrace was amazing. I couldn't put 5 stars for location and social experience for some reason but they would both definitely be 5 stars! Amazing place to spend your time at UEA
Not the fanciest accommodation but good value for money- perfect location for first years and a good place for your social life, if a bit noisy
the most amazing place you could ever live
Great views and great people. Other halls I've found are not as outgoing and are a lot more b*****.
Absolutely beautiful views, very social, but nicely tucked out of the way.
Norfolk Terrace is definitely the best place for socialisation, made some amazing friends here. It definitely needs more showers and a common room but don't be put off by the 14 people living there, it adds to the experience! It is by far the best accommodation on campus and close to everything!
No one messes with Norfolk terrace
At £100 percent, Norfolk Terrace is the best value for money halls, set in an on campus central location, with views of the UEA broad from every room. Although bathrooms are shared, they are always clean and readily free. Due the the large size of the flats, 14 people, there is plenty of social interaction added to the fact there are multiple floors in each block. Finally, the kitchen space is perfect for a social space.
It's called the ghetto for a reason. If you love partying and don't really give a s*** about staying somewhere posh here's for you. The field out the front in the summer is ace.
I love how social it is and the big Windows with pretty views
Made so many happy memories in there. The people were amazing and the view was also amazing.
Pleasant living conditions, can't really ask for more, although the lack of an oven is a shared annoyance. Showers are slightly squeezed, however our flat (top floor) has extra glass ones that are wonderful.
Great value, extremely socialble & loads of in hall gatherings creating a close knit community
Flat size is really good - best halls for socialising and great value!
By far the place halls at UEA. Definitely the most sociable and most fun as well as in the best location on campus plus the views are amazing
Most sociable halls at UEA, and best value for money. You get a bigger room than any in of the en suite halls, and there's an incredible community in NT you don't get in the more modern accommodation. On top of that, you get to live in a listed building and your bedroom window looks out across a lake (!!!). I don't know a single person who lives in Norfolk Terrace that wishes they were in other accommodation.
Maintenance & cleaning is s*** but this is where you go to meet the down-to-earth people at UEA!
Being right in the centre of campus gives us great access to everything we need
The best hall I could have asked for, it's so close to everything on campus, with amazing sized bedrooms for the price and loads of storage. Very social within the flat and with other flats along the terrace, very friendly and always someone to go out with. It's also much cheaper than the en suite accommodation on campus, but much better!
Such a perfect Atmosphere for my first year at uni.
They may look ugly to some people and you have to share a toilet and shower. But everyone knows that Norfolk Terrace is the best social accommodation and easily has the best view of any accommodation in the country looking over the UEA broad
It has been amazing living in Norfolk Terrace, it's set in the beautiful Norfolk countryside with huge windows to be able to see the beautiful greenery your surrounded by as well as the wonderful UEA lake. Really the only negative is that the kitchen has no comfy chairs, other than that it's awesome! There is no issue with sharing bathrooms and you feel really safe with regular enough security and the lovely cleaner, Judy, who is awesome. Overall I've had a brilliant experience.
