This place is basically death for introverts, or anyone looking to study. Unless you like disgusting, drunk, jocked up, idiots, and equally cosmopolitan slutbags who have severe borderline functions, then you're fcked. I don't know how these scum got into Uni. But this place is hellish. Idiots knocking on your doors... Barging into your flat... Smoking weed... Screaming at 2am... These people are the type who should've failed A levels, not passed them.
The location is a 50/50 issue. You are right in the city of Norwich, so you have easy access to everything in a way that is completely out of the question if you are on campus. I have to say that next year I would almost certainly apply again for a place in the city rather than in the suburbs or on campus. That being said, MCC feels like a private rented place rather than uni accommodation in that there is little real social interaction with campus, and the actual journey to campus is much longer than I expected it to be. When I hear people moan about having to get up thirty minutes before a lecture, I do feel a bit annoyed! The other thing is being so far away from campus, I don't really feel like I'm 'at' Uni, more like I go to Uni a couple of days a week, and I certainly don't feel that I am in a 'Uni' mindset a lot of the time.
