The location is a 50/50 issue. You are right in the city of Norwich, so you have easy access to everything in a way that is completely out of the question if you are on campus. I have to say that next year I would almost certainly apply again for a place in the city rather than in the suburbs or on campus. That being said, MCC feels like a private rented place rather than uni accommodation in that there is little real social interaction with campus, and the actual journey to campus is much longer than I expected it to be. When I hear people moan about having to get up thirty minutes before a lecture, I do feel a bit annoyed! The other thing is being so far away from campus, I don't really feel like I'm 'at' Uni, more like I go to Uni a couple of days a week, and I certainly don't feel that I am in a 'Uni' mindset a lot of the time.
