Was quite expensive but worth it because its a 30 second walk to lectures. Wifi was good and fast most of the year. Just about 3 days when the wifi was down. Can be expensive if you break things or loose your key but i did and I didn't get charged :) theres a cleaner who cleans kitchens and corridors. ( means you have to keep kitchen tidy or you get a warning then a fine for a deep clean)
Although I enjoyed staying at Bassett Lowke Hall because of the people I was staying with, I thought it was really overpriced for what you get. The room was absolutely tiny including the bed (although the bed was comfy and you got your own bathroom) there was no common room or even any sofas in our flat and the internet connection was rather annoying. But, I think the worst thing to live with was probbly the washer/dryer room, there is only 4 washers and 4 dryers to share between 40 flats! I had to wait for ages to get my washing done and even then the machines would break! Wouldn't reccommend staying here unless you want to be close to the uni because it's on campus.
While I had an overall good experience, I did feel that the accommodation that I stayed in was a little overpriced. The wifi was pretty bad, the signal was almost non- existent in kitchen and when I stood by my window I had no wifi connection at all.
