I would seriously say DO NOT LIVE HERE. I have lived here for the past year and it’s been nothing but hell, the hot water has been off at least once a week for the past week. WiFi never works so have to use 4G. I have had problems with lack of cleaning from flat mates and when I raised the issue with management nothing has been resolved after they said they would do weekly inspections which they haven’t. Lastly it is way too expensive for what your getting it’s like living in a hospital with the interior. You are better off staying elsewhere.
Management staff are quite frankly rude. I would be ashamed to own the building with such disrespectful management team. At the end of the day, although we are students at least pay us with decent respect, we are paying for this. There is no where near the right amount of washing machines/ dryers 6 in total for the whole block. There isn't enough bins again only 6 of these and often these are over flowing.
Management far too strict, unable to socialise properly because of this. Also for the price you are paying, you expect a lot newer and cleaner facilities. Broken oven, microwave, toilet seats, showers and the water has been switched off on a few occasions for up to 24 hours.
Loved living in Victoria Halls, however sometimes the staff, especially the manager, can be quite rude if you have a problem. The halls itself is in a great position and they are easily one of the best halls, space wise, for what you pay.
