I was moved from a flat in robbins to pilgrim and put in a flat with people who were not in the a a me sort of social group as me, e.g an older generation so they all have different likes to me, don't get me wrong they are all super nice people and I've really liked living with them but cared to my friends flats it just feels much different. Also comparing that Francis drake pay £1 a week more than I do and there facilities are much better than mine, yes they have 2 more people per flat but it's a big difference.
Some RAs come round at 11 and kick everyone out which is not what we were told at the start of the year!! They don't ask us to turn the music down they just walk in and don't leave the flat till every single person in the flat has gone which yes we shouldn't make the noise but it's the fact that they don't ask us to be more quite or anything they just say everyone get out.
Close to uni (2 minutes away meant I couldn't literally roll out of bed for 9ams), clean and friendly but due to no social areas and each block onky containing a few flats it lacked sense of community.
No communal living area which makes it less easy to socialise because sitting on the kitchen chairs aren't that comfortable! Maintainable people and cleaners were so hard working and brilliant. Wifi was poor in my room as the router was down the hall. Charge a ridiculous amount per week for the halls though so definitely not worth the money.
