Laundry actually works and there are usually spare machines if you come at the right time like in the mornings, which is something you don't always get living in student halls. Heating works well and I've never had any issues with water or electricity. Location is great as the accom is just around 3-5 minutes away from Stratford station, and there are many supermarkets to choose from as well as Stratford Centre and Westfield just nearby. No complaints!

Situated by the Olympic Park at Stratford, Angel Lane is exclusively for students studying at King’s College London and is thirty-five-minutes away via Central Line to Holborn Station for King’s College. Westfield shopping centre is a five-minute walk away, with all the shops, bars, and restaurants you could ever need. Stratford station is also conveniently just five minutes away.

Angel Lane is by far the best student residence I've lived in - thanks in large part to the lovely Reception team and other staff on site who are attentive, caring and incredibly helpful. The residence is friendly, has plenty of study/social spaces, hosts different events where you can meet other students and is close to King's Strand/Waterloo/Guy's campuses as well as various social and other spaces in East London. If you're looking for a warm home away from home, it's worth choosing Angel Lane :)

Angel Lane has offered a fantastic introduction to London. In particular however, the staff there are absolutely phenomenal particularly Neelam, Tara and Timta ( apologies if I have misspelt names ). I have stayed at this accommodation for all 3 years of my degree because how pleasant my experience has been. It is a great location, everything you would need is within a 5-10 minute walk and the closest station is well connected to most tube lines. The building is well managed and maintained by the loveliest staff who are always readily available for help. I’ve never had an issues with this accommodation and would highly recommend it to future students.

So far Angel Lane’s been amazing! Room sizes are a little small but I love the courtyard, terraces and sitting spaces- provides a very social setting . The morning music in the lobby is also great. The reception staff is also fantastic especially Neelam who’s a gem of a person.

Although located in the crazy-lively Startford, Angel Lane has a outstanding security and helpful receptionists. The residence has various amenities and irresistible social spaces. Not to mention, it’s staff work around the clock to keep it clean and secure, and will immediately attend to your concerns; much like Neelam and Tara did when I had an issue with my residence card!

Been Living here in Angel Lane for a whole academic year including the summer. Lived in other accommodations but in all honesty no other had a better staff! I would give it more than 5 starts if I could, the property team is EXTREMELY nice, considerate and helpful! They have never let me down any time I been to the reception desk! Not even once which is very rare in student accommodations. All of them are very helpful and know how to act in bad situations I didnt expect myself to be put in. Also, maintenance is so great as everytime I went to report an issue during a week day, next morning its solved immediatly! Everyone on the team is awesome but special special thanks to Tara, Paul and Neezlam!

I had a fairly good time at Angel Lane. Tara, Neelam, Encarni and all the other staff members are incredible - very approachable and always ensuring that everyone is okay and safe! I’d recommend this accommodation especially for the caring staff.
I really enjoyed my stay at Angel, the staff were always helpful and ready to have a nice chat. Special shoutout to Tara and Neelan, they often made your day a bit better. I also loved the pizza night at the start of the year.
The past 1 year that I have been staying here has been the best! The common spaces are always clean. The open spaces are well maintained all year round and the maintenance is prompt. I big shout-out to Neelam for organising some of the best breakfasts in the accommodation for us and always being such a joy to talk to. And Tara for being super helpful with all sorts of requests and queries I would make as an international student. All the staff is really kind and willing to help at all times and greet you with the biggest smiles. I wish my course was not getting over so soon as I would love to continue staying here!
Great accomodation, receptionists and security are very kind and helpful (Neelum is amazing), courtyard is great to chill in and it has a good quiet study area.
I stayed here for my first year and for a short period in my third year, Angel Lane has always been excellent. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend it to KCL students. Angel Lane is surrounded by fantastic amenities and is close to the Stratford underground station. Although it being further away from campus than other KCL accommodations means a longer journey to campus, I would recommend it over the other halls due to the local amenities (especially the large supermarkets with more affordable prices, which are almost impossible to come by in central London), social spaces, and the quality of rooms being better value for money than other KCL halls. The staff are also great, a big thank you to Neelam who has been exceptionally helpful and brings great energy making students feel at home.

I stayed in Angel Lane last year for 52 weeks and I had a really great experience, which encouraged me to stay here again. I love the terraces, the courtyard and the common room areas. The staff are also lovely, including the housekeepers, and they have helped me when I had concerns. For example, Neelam acted as an important point of contact and support when I was having issues with my flatmate. She assured me that i have every right to raise my concerns, that I can come to her for support at any point and she informed me about the welfare team. Other staff members have contributed to my positive experience include the Russian housekeeper, there was another lady at reception who always greets me when I enter or leave (she's quite short and has long hair) and Timea is a warm person.

I, as a foreign student, had sometime felt loneliness while I had stayed in a flat share with before moving in here. Studying abroad is not always positive and enjoyable time and it often comes with some difficult times such as overwhelming loads of assignments, part-time job, undecided future prospects of career, and sadly sometimes racial discriminations in the society. I have experienced all of them during my stay in London since last September. This experience sometimes drug me into feeling down. But after I moved in Angel Lane, I always get energy from the friendly and supportive staff, who treat me fairly regardless of my social status as a Asian and student. Whenever I come home and hear voices of the staff and feel lively energy there, I feel recharged. Despite being further out from campus compared to other accomodations, Angel Lane is a great community of its own. Receptionists such as Tara, Neelam, Paul, Encarni, Janelle, Timea, and Lauren help in making the Angel Lane such a welcoming place as well as making it feel so homely. The building looks amazing and the people working there are exceptionally friendly and super helpful, especially the receptionists Babar, Tara, Paul and Neelam. I do not feel safe at all in Stratford honestly but the area is super lively and we have everything we need really close to us when it comes to shops and food chains, food markets, restaurants, and we also have the shopping mall a few minutes away from our house. My favourite thing about the location of Angel Lane is that it is a few minutes away from the tube station so it is easier to get home safely, especially at night. And the security is really great inside my halls. The building has many common rooms with big TVs, terraces, a study room and a huge interior courtyard and terrace. The building looks amazing and everything inside looks new. The furniture is great inside our rooms and the kitchens are spacious and provided with big sofas and huge windows, allowing us to enjoy great views from our kitchen.

It’s a very close place to live. Lovely members of staff always willing to help and go the extra mile. Specifically Neelam, Paul, Encarni, Tara, Lauren, Janelle and Timea! The staff always decorate the reception so beautifully when there is a special event/day it makes the building such a fun and welcoming place to live! Social events are hosted often where it is great to meet other people. The location is almost perfect as it is close to brilliant entertainment and shopping but just a bit far from the university campus. The building is very modern and has excellent facilities such as a 24 hour study room and common rooms and outside terraces.

Wonderful zone 2 location with amazing and helpful staff especially Tara and Neelam on reception which have helped any problems to be solved quickly and provide a compassionate and warm welcome home. very close to Stratford Centre/Westfields & Station. Building is well maintained and any issues are resolved quickly. Neelam, Timea, Paul, Encarni, Janelle, Tara and Lauren are all so friendly and helpful, they really care about you and will always make you smile with how kind they are. I feel safe in Angel Lane with the building security and how your welfare is a top priority. Reception and the welfare team make you feel like you always have a person to talk to about anything if you need it. The maintenance team are also always willing to help with anything you need. I have never had a bad experience with anyone who works at Angel Lane.

Angel lane is a lovely place to stay. There’s so much to do for students they always celebrate events no matter the culture so it’s diverse. I especially loved the pancake day set up. There’s so many communal areas so relax with your friends and make new ones. The receptionists are so friendly and help with anything. The location is not that close to campus which does incur costs for commuting but the location makes up for it with lots of shops and amazing transport links on your doorstep. There’s not cleaner for kitchens so they can get dirty but communal areas are always clean. WiFi can be slow at times but not unbearable. The staff are absolutely lovely (shoutout to Neelam, Paul, Encarni, Tara, Lauren, Janelle, and Timea) there’s always social events for holidays and they are always friendly and helpful and kind.

The staff (Neelam, Paul, Encarni, Lauren, Timea, Tara, and Janelle) are all very welcoming and provide help 24/7 which I love. The courtyard and the terrace are amazing, and the view from the study area is so peaceful and tranquil. I really appreciate that the rooms are more or less sound proof so I can study in peace. The only thing that I find quite unpleasant is the limited number of washing machines available, meaning there's a lot of laundry traffic.

I’v stayed at angel lane since September and I’v really loved my experience her so far. This accommodation is okay. The staff are really friendly and helpful, especially Paul, Encarni, Tara, Lauren, Janelle Neelsm and Timea who really do go out to their way for us. However, it is situated quite far out of central. And the surrounding area is not particularly safe, especially the walk to the station when it’s dark. Overall it depends on what your priorities are for your accommodation. I personally found it very quiet and hard to meet others.

Noisy. I’m posting this so anyone booking new this year will know more than I did. If you are allocated a room on the train line side you will hear 4 main train lines (tube, east Anglia, cargo etc) from 5AM-12AM. If your flatmates don’t shut the doors quietly, they will easily slam. Every flat also has 10 rooms, there’s no variation. The staff are so kind however, and it’s pretty easy to get to central london but the rooms are also tiny and the windows don’t open fully (metal bars). The only good thing really was the staff, the en-suite, the bed, the great internet connection, storage amount, the study room and how close it is so shops. Maintenance team were great however and there were never any issues in that area, staff were always on hand to help day and night.
