What are the top reasons for choosing Louise House?
We spoke to CRM Students to find out more:
1. Louise House is located in Zone 1. The accommodation is within a 17-minute walk from Kings College, and near Imperial College, UCL and the University of Westminster.
2. Residents can enjoy being moments away from local attractions, historical sites, parks, transport links, shops and eateries.
3. There are no hidden costs as there is free Wi-Fi and all-inclusive utility bills.
4. You can enjoy the games room, equipped with table tennis and table football.
5. Other on-site facilities include a cinema room and a private garden.
6. You can have peace of mind with on-site management support and free on-site laundry facilities.
Rooms:
There are various room types to choose from to suit all budgets and requirements. Studio rooms have a private kitchen and en-suite shower room. All rooms offer a study space with a desk and chair, a bed and storage space. There are communal bathrooms and communal kitchens which are fully equipped and have a dining and lounge area to relax in.
Enjoyed my time at Louise House. The location is perfect and a 10 minute walk to Trafalgar Square. The property is well taken care of with extremely helpful staff, and a good social presence. Great rules that allow you to host your friends from outside the accommodation flexibly and allowing you to gather in the social spaces. However, the common areas could be organised better, but in a year riddled with the pandemic, I can understand why they weren't. The wifi is the best I have ever seen at an accommodation and the home theatre room is my favourite part of the housing! Biggest gripe is the rent, closet 250 quid a week without an ensuite in London might put a lot of people off, and rightfully so.

I have stayed at Louise House for 1 horrible year, and it is the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. It is incredibly unsafe here. The onsite security team has been fired and the front door isn’t even locked! There is a homeless shelter with a methadone clinic and rehab center across the street so there are always homeless people on drugs hanging around the place. There has even been a kidnapping right in front of the building. The standards here are so low that they basically don’t exist. Don’t bother asking reception to do something because it won’t get done anyway. For two months a schizophrenic woman lived on my hallway who screamed about murder every day. Additionally, 3 out of the four washing machines were broken for months, there are mice, we’ve lost heating twice, electricity once, and hot water repeatedly. The walls are super thin, the basement has flooded, and the elevator is always broken.
