The property is really nice with a lot of facilities for students. The games on ground floor are really nice and entertaining as well as the rooftop. The rooms are also very nice, much nicer than any other accommodation I’ve been to so far

Flora Building Biography
The Flora Building is purposefully built student accommodation located in the creative and cultural heart of East London, meaning you have plenty of shops, restaurants and bars right on your doorstep. Point Blank Music School and City University are both within a thirty-minute walk from the accommodation, whilst numerous other universities are a quick tube ride away.
You can hang out with friends and watch TV, play on the gaming console, work out in the on-site gym, take a breather in the relaxing zone or unwind in the games rooms fitted with a pool table. When needing to get some work done, you can take advantage of the study area. If you want to get some fresh air, you can relax in the courtyard garden or sky garden roof terrace. To make your stay as comfortable as possible there is bike storage, 24/7 CCTV, a 24/7 on-site team, on-site laundry facilities, and on-site maintenance and management.

I think I'm the only Korean, it's great to have 24 hours of waiting security and a 3-minute walk from the subway station. It's not far from old street, so you can travel anywhere in London in 30 minutes by car and there's a significant risk of losing your parcel. The house is really quiet, the noise between floors is low, and there are many convenient facilities such as public kitchens and game facilities below.

Not bad. Some facilities go wrong but the engineer helped to fix them quickly. Receptions are all super nice. Close to underground station and shops. Enjoy the time living here.
It is a great student apartment, with a convenient location to everywhere. The overground station and bus stop are all in walking distance, about 4 minutes.

Flora building has a really great vibe with it's study room, communal kitchen, sky garden and other amenities. The people are friendly and warm too.

security guards know as T help me a lot and he is very friendly
Management is lazy and does only the bare minimum. Fire alarm rings for hours on end, especially if the staff clock out or on weekends (when clearly untrained security staff take over). Endless fire-alarms. Don't expect to be able to do your laundry on schedule, as they've only prepared 4 washers and 4 dryers for the laundry needs of 300 tenants. None of the facilities are directly accessible, require registration & are not usable past 10pm. Genuinely a disappointing experience. Go to a less commercialized accomodation if possible. Genuine regret having stayed here for a year.

One of the most unique student accommodations in London with a great location and friendly staff. The apartments are very well designed with quality furnishings and great windows. Good management, modern rooms, clean building. Overall nice cosy accommodation with good amenities. Only con is don’t get phone network/phone service in building. Although good WiFi provided.

I have been staying at the The flora building (ex The Project at Hoxton) for 2 years and it had made my student accommodation experience very enjoyable. The management team is vey helpful and nice, the rooms are very spacious, clean and bright which ideal for home studying. There is many onsite facilities to use and the onsite team organises many activities over the year ( pancakes workshop/ grab a breakfast on the go ….). There has been no issues or misunderstanding in terms of communication, room booking, or during the stay. Moreover, the building is situated in a nice area next the to many “must see” places such as Colombia road flower market, weekly food markets, Victoria park and many shoreditch bars and restaurants. I would recommend the Flora building to any student who is looking for a hassle free and enjoyable student accommodation experience.

Staff are so kind and you’re allowed to access to various types of social space where the residents can socialise. The gymnastics room is also nice if you like to exercise.
