While the location couldn’t be bettered, your literally in Greenwich town centre with all the local amenities and the tube station on your door step. My living experience there hasn’t been the greatest, there has been noise in the courtyard at night nonstop, the smell of weed has been off putting, mice in the kitchen, and my biggest gripe has to be with the maintenance of the rooms, while I understand it’s our duty to keep our spaces clean, there are some things that requires outside help, I had mould on my carpet in which I was told to deal with myself, I have asthma and me and mould don’t mix, my shower is constantly blocked and they come and deal with it in a basic patch up job and the problem is recurring, earlier in the year I had issues with my toilet in which the flush was broken and kept letting the water go, it took them nearly three weeks for them to deal with the issue. The RA’s and Accoms team are unhelpful and do not take the concerns of the residents seriously.
Completely disappointed! Bad management of the hall. Completely disappointed about the respect of the rules between mates. Completely not caring by the University management and employees about the respect of rules in the contract and the Health and safety procedures. In the office in the Uni, employees completely inadequate and absolutely not proactive and not emphatic with students that pay to stay relaxed and have services to help. Be careful that if you will have problems, neither Resident Assistant nor the office employees will ever help you. Everyone can do what they want to do, from the dirtiness of the kitchen to the extremely noisy and the rooms with 3 or 4 people inside that make noise every time of the day. I complained about the respect of the rules and cleanliness, I hadn't cooked since September in the kitchen because mates from Nigeria stored in the kitchen potatoes and other wasted food with worms, can imagine the smell I sent them evidence about they still don't care
