Had mouse in our kitchen and flatmates a few blocks down had cockroaches/rats. A lot of residence also did not have hot water for over a term. a lot of electric appliances would not work or had faulties which were often replaced but there are also waiting lists for services to be resolved which took a long long time. nice location though despite it looking grim from the outside. the hallways smell terrible as well but you tune out after a while

Would not recommend staying here. There are constant power outages that take hours to be resolved. Staff is generally unhelpful.

Met some great people there, but nothing compared to the social life at Ramsey/Astor. Also too expensive.

If you just want to study and be confined to the people in your individual blocks then stay here. I practically stayed at my friends halls from LSE, Kings, Cass and QM the whole year as Frances Gardner was so antisocial. This halls of residence are pretty much made for Masters or Phd students who just want to get on with their work.
