It’s cold, there’s pests, get me out of here

Great, facilities are good. Friendly people.
Hi there, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay.
It’s been good and bad. Some staff here are really friendly and helpful but some are not. Due to lockdown, we can’t use gym and the communal area and they’re not giving us a reduction in rent as these facilities were promised before I moved in. I suggest moving into a flat share with your friends is the best option because at Scape there’s almost no privacy, your next door neighbor can hear everything you say in your room, the wall is very thin. I should have knew that before moving in. I do not recommend moving into a student accommodation during the pandemic because no one listens to the rules and parties are taking place here every weekend and sometimes during the week. The location is not too bad and the area is decent, but still not recommended. Btw bullying happen here and people are not nice unless you’re friends with them. There’s better options than here!
I am in my first year at Ravensbourne - I received a discounted room and decided to stay here as they marketed it as if there was no where else to stay, as well as the short commute. I received little to no information prior to moving in, the only emails I got were to ask for my money. The staff are incredibly rude and not very helpful - when you smile and say hello in the morning they simply ignore you. The lifts rarely work & the place generally smells. They market it as a lot of social events, but there aren't really any and you have to pay for them, there are limited spaces usually. The rooms are okay - they are spacious for what they are but aren't clean at all, all of the plugs were blocked when I moved in, there are bugs everywhere and there has been pest control in. The only positive is the location! Think twice before moving here, there are so many better options! Unite Students at Stratford is where I'll be moving next year, an incomparable atmosphere!
friendly staff and good variety of rooms for students to choose from
Hi there, thanks for taking the time to leave a review :)
The WiFi goes away often and the staff Is overall nice even if I had problems at the beginning because they were extremely incompetent and did not manage to answer any of my questions. Social spaces are very nice even if they make you pay for events and this inhibits my will to attend their organized parties. Rooms are overall clean even if I don’t like the smell on my floor but have noticed it is not the same as others. It is expensive but it has everything you need and it’s very nice. It has a big window, a modern bathroom,a kitchen with everything you need and huge desk which is very comfortable. There is plenty of space for clothes and stationery.
I am very pleased with the night staff as they are always helpful at anytime of the evening. Those are Haitham and Apoque.
Hello. Thanks for leaving this high rating, we really appreciate it.
This accommodation is by far the worst for anyone at Ravensbourne Uni. There are countless problems including toilets running for many days straight, carpet worms living in the carpets around a significant number of people's rooms and mold growing in fridges caused by fridge leaks. I've come from New York and didn't receive a discounted room, and I'm now forced to live with worms and mold, which are a health hazard in themselves. Do not rent here. The wifi goes out regularly and the staff, and maintenance is extremely unhelpful. It isn't worth the price of the room and the limited space that you receive.
It's super expensive but is in a really lovely and convenient location, walking distance from the o2 and my uni, the staff are lovely and the place is hygienic and clean. Rooms are small but I guess that's to be expected. You have your own microwave, two hobs and a fridge/freezer which is nice. A little annoying that you don't have an oven and have to go downstairs if you want to cook something, but not too much of a problem.

Good size rooms and great for socialising
Hello. Thanks for leaving this high rating, we really appreciate it.
Nice rooms and are a decent size. Great if you’re a first year at Rave
Hi. Thanks for this high rating, we’re happy to hear you feel this way about living with us.
Loud people, generally stupid people who want to waste £9000 a year on a a photography or media degree. Rude staff, no cleaning, no social atmosphere. It's way too hot in the rooms in summer, even with windows open and fans turned on.
