Do not live here. The entire site is a scam. The location is not even really Notting Hill - 25 minute walk to Portobello Market (the closest end of it, not the Notting Hill Gate End). There is absolutely nothing in the area other than a grocery store - no restaurants, shopping, etc. The neighbourhood is not safe to walk around at night and the canal is not lit so you don't feel safe walking there beyond 4 or 5pm in the winter. There is no sense of community in the residence at all. There have been two events in the last six months I've lived here. Half the rooms in the building are empty and yet they still charge an insane rate for even the cheapest room.
Moved in at the start of September and the site still isn't finished as we leave for Christmas. It's like a building site, being woke up at 8am by work men is annoying when you don't have uni until 3pm! Things in my room weren't working and had to complain for weeks before they were fixed. I think it's really expensive for what it is, and we have still had to pay full rent £139 a week even when the site isn't fully built. The only good side is the wifi. It is really fast and included in the rent, as well as gym membership and there are smart TVs in every room.
