Very cheap relative to the south Kensington based halls and still in a very affluent area of London. Excellent facilities around Wilson such as 24 hour tesco, mcdonald's, burger king, KFC etc all within a 2 minute walk. Down side of the location is the 30 minute walk to college however it is aa pleasant walk through Hyde Park. Good social events so far during freshers week but this may change. Kitchens are generally clean but I did see a mouse at one point. WiFi is very fast but sometimes stops working so you have to turn your WiFi off and on again. Overall I would recommend Wilson house to any future imperial students

Very nice high ceilings (in the older houses), I have a quite a spacious room (I have seen some quite small ones and some very big ones). Kitchens are reasonably big with 2 ovens for 13 people but we only have one table. Kitchens and bathrooms are cleaned regularly. Staff are very understanding and nice to talk to. The only thing I would criticise is the amount of storage space in the kitchens and in the rooms (one more bookshelf would be appreciated).

The only minor downside to Wilson is the location (kind of), if you're looking to be close to campus. It's about a 30 minute walk from the South Kensington campus but on the other hand, it's also a 10 minute walk from oxford street, so for me, that's actually better than being near uni. All the kitchens are on the same floor so socialising between houses is great! Rooms are cleaned once a month and communal areas (kitchens and bathrooms) are cleaned at least 3 times a week. Rooms are modern and minimalistic (mainly white) so you can add your own touch! They're also a very good size. I wouldn't want to be in another hall.
