The best Goldsmiths halls for parties and socialising. Super close to both the uni, supermarket and station. Security are definitely present which could be a positive or negative depending on who you are. The cleaners are good but will refuse to clean if you leave a mess. Loved my time here.

loring hall don't let you have friends. you have to scan in with your card to enter. if ur not in loring and try and go in there you get a mouthful from the reception. tried to go in with my friend once just to go to the loo, took about 10 mins of signing in and showing IDs and explaining why we were there just to get inside. not worth it. also they always put on the special group things like thanksgiving meals and s*** but its literally just some biscuits and swash on a table where nobody sits and they just steal the food back to their rooms
My block was furthest from the entrance security office - the front is opposite a primary school playground so you'll hear screaming kids 8am-3pm, if you're at the back of the building there's lots of train lines close so you'll hear loud trains late into the night and early in the morning. It was freezing cold in autumn/winter and didn't help that our heating was CONSTANTLY breaking. The hot water was fine, but the radiators would not turn on, they would send someone to fix it (who seemed to just turn the boiler on and off again), by the next day it would have stopped again, then the process starts all over. The staff at the management centre were generally friendly but two women at the desk were incredibly rude though and would ignore you while texting or chatting to each other and then glare at you not saying anything when they finally notice/hear you. At least hire staff that don't bite your head off for "disturbing" their chatting by just wanting your parcel or to get in.

Stayed here in my first year, its a very 'party centric' hall, with a load of eighteen year olds running amok! Pretty fun if you wanna make friends. The rooms are a good size and the location is literally in the campus so you can't complain. It's london though, so its very expensive.
It was disappointing
Location is so convenient. The hall management is good, very organised. The social areas are clean and the kitchen is well kept. It would be nice to have a place where we can sit together, other than the kitchen. Wifi is slow and sometimes doesn't work. Hard to watch things like iplayer.

nice London halls - my flat was very unsociable and people really kept to there selves but there were plenty of flats where people all hung out. Really close to station and easy to get into central London is 20 minutes.
