Terrible, I've been to here for my first year and it was crap!! Never been to a more disgusting place nor ever lived with such terrible people. The staff are terrible and I was just glad to get out of there in my second year.
Very few choose carnatic but so many want to move here, it's so sociable, lack of keys/fobs mean you aren't confined to your own flat / makes it easy to visit friends in the floors surrounding you. 22 people on a floor means you're more than likely to make friends, the bus service is great so the distance from campus is bearable, always rowdy on the way to a night out too. wouldn't want to be anywhere else, and everyone I've spoke to says the same. the food times are slightly annoying but the choice of food is fine and you get to eat with your friends every day. there is a lack of social space, but it's manageable with the small kitchen and the laundry room is where predrinks happen
Salisbury Hall is not the most glam place in the World. It has long dark corridors, no wifi, and it is very noisy. But despite that, it is great. The best hall at Liverpool. In the modern campus halls, it can be difficult to make friends. Think about it. In new builds, you cook alone, eat alone, have your own bathroom, don't get a bus with other people. All that makes it hard to make friends. Salisbury is one of the most sociable places that I have ever lived. I met some wonderful people. And I loved it. Even if I could hardly sleep.
