Atlantic Point Biography
If you are looking for central accommodation, close to campus, various forms of entertainment and the city centre, then Atlantic Point is the place for you. Liverpool John Moore University and SAE Liverpool are a short ten-minute walk away whilst the University of Liverpool and Liverpool Hope University can both be reached within a thirty-minute walk. The city centre is only a fifteen-minute walk away and is filled with shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife. M&S Bank Arena, the docks, the Tate Liverpool and the Museum of Liverpool are also located nearby.
If you have a car, then you’re in luck as there is car parking available onsite for an additional cost. Hi , No this site has no lifts , this site is only 4 floors in each block

We are around d a 20 minute walk . We do have a waiting list for parking as we are currently sold out for the next academic year . Parking is currently £19.50 per week and is a contract for 42/44 or 51 weeks depending on your room contract.

It was okay if wish there were shops close by
Stayed here 2022/2023 for uni. Facilitates are okay (exempt the very poor internet connection) and the block I stayed in was quiet. However, the place was infested with silverfish and my room had some minor faults (plug socket not working, loose tap etc) which were never resolved. The majority of the staff were as helpful as they could be but their manager, Laura could've been nicer and more capable at her job. There was a lot of times where staff would send emails about room/facility checks, leaving a big time frame but then never actually going through with them and other times staff or hired hands knocking on our doors unannounced to perform work and checks - Worst offender being told we were to have mattress checks anywhere between 10am-6pm and that we had to have our beds stripped yet no one came to perform them, leaving us without our beds for hours. My flatmates against their better judgement, prolonged their stay into the summer and faced a lot of difficulties sorting new rooms
The flat was disgustingly dirty when I moved in. Student Experience Leader is very unhelpful and the location is severely mismanaged.

I enjoy living in Atlantic point, it’s very good value for money and the staff have been amazing both years I’ve stayed here. The only fault I could give the site is the WiFi connections, it’s not reliable at all and I find myself having to run to the library because of this however in my previous year staying here I never had an issue with the WiFi. The site feels safe however I have ran into a problem with other tenants and them being “suggestive” but I understand this isn’t any fault of AP itself. Any maintenance issues are always sorted with speed.
The quality and location of the rooms are great. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Good experience, however the WiFi is terrible.

Really lovely people working at reception, kind and helpful with any requests. The accommodation has a local cat, Maggie, Francis an evening staff member was kind and gave us food to feed her with. Maggie’s great for well-being and the flats are very good value for money.
The price is really good and I don't think a student needs more than this! The staff is really friendly and helpful and you can walk everywhere even not being the most center one. My only complaint would be the sofa is not very comfortable and the internet is not reliable.

The best part are some of the friendly staff in reception who handle my parcels, particularly Maddy and Jay. The big let down is the Wi-Fi. It’s never been fantastic but used to be consistently stable. Since Christmas however, it’s been pretty much unusable and I’ve had to rely on my phone data and hot spot.

Andrea in the reception is lovely, and all the reception staff are great. The fire alarm tests could be done at more sociable hours as to not ruin sleep schedules. My bathroom had mould in upon arrival and the fridge and oven were very dirty, so not too pleased about that. Great staff just a shame about the cleanliness which isn't their fault.

I have spent 3 years living at Atlantic point over my time at university. It is very good value for money and the staff are friendly. Laura one of the managers looks out for us all and is always on hand if we need anything. She is sociable and always up for a chat and a catch up. She has helped us throughout our time here and deserves a special mention.

You will not regret staying at Atlantic point. It is one of the cheapest accommodations in Liverpool with a good location and lovely staff. The flats are bright, nice and clean.

Staying another year because they have affordable en-suite rooms, even with a regular room it is spacious and comfortable. Its close to town. Parking space is available but not needed unless you’re doing a course that requires long distance travel. The staff are lovely and friendly, you’ll get along with them. When it comes to maintenance issues, it gets sorted asap (e.g. our oven broke one eveing and was turning off all lights in our flat, as a result we made this aware to staff and this was fixed the next day). The only times you might notice loud music is during breaks or on the weekends. If you join a society then Wednesday’s is student night! I would recommend to anyone.

I like the layout of the flats and rooms, kitchens are very good for social spaces. Staff are very friendly but on occasion haven’t been very helpful with issues we’ve had such a wanting more fridge space or new hoovers. The hub could do with improvement as it’s not used often as there’s not a lot to do in there. I would still recommend Atlantic point to others as the location of really good with it being a 5 min walk from my Uni building and not very far walk into town. Great value for money compared to other more pricey accommodations in the area.

Not the best accommodation location is on the outskirts of city centre and is a 20 min walk into town so can be lacking socially as well as the poor organisation from staff lack of cleanliness and a pathetic attempt at a communal room as well as questionable wifi currently live here was the cheapest option be warned you get what you pay for
Security guards walk into your flag because of a ‘noise compliant’ without knocking. WiFi is appalling, the office is not interested and tell us to ring the company ourselves to sort the issue out. Social spaces are all shut so they’re awful. These flats were not cleaned properly AT ALL, and the inspection was poor. My walls were stained, my windowsill was black and my bathroom was smelly. The mattress is uncomfortable and I now have backache.
Halls are good, very safe and well organised.

In a nice quiet area, although 15minute walk from the opposite side of the town. The cleaners are never in, the WiFi won’t connect to my laptop and the staff are rude
Cheap by price, not by quality. brilliant in accomodating me at such short notice. All the office staff are lovely, security team are sound (especially big steve, that man is the nicest guy you will ever meet). Left my key in my flat a few times but as long as you make your face familiar they will let you back into the compound. Located about 10 minutes walk from city centre, the value for money is brilliant. Compared to other accomodations such as marybone 1/2, this accomodation is superior. You get an en suite bathroom, double bed and all bills paid for less then the second cheapest (marybone 1 which you have a shared bathroom). The cleaners carry out weekly checks to make sure your kitchen and hallway is reasonably tidy. (no ocd here, if its not tidy, they will leave you a message to tidy it, or they will clean it for you for a small fee. I lived in block 9B, FLAT 150, ROOM 5 last year (2018/2019), i am staying again for 2nd year.
Excellent value for money, nice room and kitchen, having your own toilet really is great, and management are friendly. But the noise from the Fresher's is intolerable, even outwith Fresher's week. The good location rating suffers as a result and the fantastic social experience is ruined by it. Security can only do so much. Yelling, loud music, shouting, animal calls, etc. my window, like a lot of them, looks on to three other blocks - I wouldn't chose this place again as a result. I'm exhausted for lectures day after day unrelentingly, up at 2am, 4am even 6am.

The location is only good if you go to uni at Byron street everything else is an awkward distance away including shops. The internet is patchy and sometimes doesn't work for a day. They don't allow cars into the compound (apart from when you first get dropped off) so getting dropped off can be difficult if you have a lot of stuff. The staff can be very whiney if they come round and the kitchen isn't spotless. The security are good at keeping out the riffraff and will let you sign in a maximum of 3 friends if you have more get your flat mates to sign in a few.
Not worth it at all. Go stay at Ablett house or the one opening at Byrom street.
Yes it's a bit pricey but the location, the facilities and the newness of it more than make up for that. I've had a great experience here so far. It's secure, but not too strict and it's only 20 mins max from most places you'll want to go.

Only a 5 minute walk to my lectures and the library which is really ideal. About 10/15 minutes walk to town/gym. Closest Tescos is near Moorefields station, so 10 minutes away. It's quite an ideal place to live if you're lectures are at Byrom St. The bedrooms and living space are great. Can put pictures up to make it homely. Events are put on in the accommodation such as pub quiz and bake off. No communal area to hang out, so quite difficult to meet people other than those in your flat or on your course. Also rent is starting to get too expensive (£120 per week in September!)
