Moved out after a week. I came to visit Hops House around March/April last year and I really liked the place for the price of it. Come to move in in September, and the wall outside the flat is covered with mould, and it smells awful. I submitted a complaint within 48 hours. First they assured me it was just on the surface, and said they'd cleaned it with bleach. It still smelled like there was mould there, so it clearly wasn't just on the surface. Then they painted over it, like all landlords. I went back and forth with them asking if they had any spaces anywhere else, and when they didn't, I decided to move out for health reasons. They were really awful about me moving out and receiving a refund. It was honestly one of the worst weeks of my life. I came back a couple weeks later to visit a friend, and the mould had come back. If you really do want to book here, don't book flat 6, 29, 7, or any room in that vicinity. Go visit first and make sure you don't get a room near the mould

Worst accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. Whether it’s 7am or 2am neighbours will make noise regardless in the hallways with security just lazing about instead of doing their job. Rubbish bags left out in the hallways for days instead of taking a 1 minute walk downstairs to throw them out. Terrible management who can’t do their job, considering the accommodation has had over 5 different managers in the last year who don’t care enough for the residents. Horrible people and horrible place
