Absolutely the WORST ever. It is way more expensive for its small room even I lived in a studio and too far from the campus. The managerial staff is very RUDE, arrogate and incompetent, especially for international students. You have to get used to ROOM INVASION by its staff. A million years you need to wait for any reply regarding your problems. They even increased the rent during the pandemic. It's all about making money. Totally DISRESPECTFUL. Don't believe its advertisement. Don't WASTE your money on it as you could rent a nice two-bedroom flat closer to the campus for the same price.

I have lived in vita for a year and my experience was not at all good. Choose vita if you don't want to socialize and pay way too much for a small room. The managerial staff is rude and incompetent. Don't be surprised if you get harassed or are told that your security will be lapsed by the manager Maxine if you complain about anything. The twice-monthly cleaning hardly passes as cleaning. The social events are more often than not canceled. There were hardly 12 events that happened and paying so much for an event per month is not justified. Also, you are thrown out before time on your moving day and don't be surprised if you are mistreated and yelled at or charged extra unnecessarily. Lastly, vita escalation is no good either so don't waste your time emailing them regarding your problems.
Really awesome! Staff have been able to assist me with absolutely everything and the events are great. It's been the perfect place coming from out of Edinburgh, I have made friends and they offer all the services I have needed!

Vita is for students, or tourists, who go out for most of their meals so they don’t have to store much in their kitchen. It’s for people who study in chatty groups, and for the few that can write an essay in a noisy environment. It’s for those who thinks paying £5.30 is a fair price for washing and drying your laundry, or for those who can take their laundry home on the weekends. It suits the social, the drinker and the loud. It suits those who don’t expect much respect or management from their landlords, and for those who don’t mind the smell of cigarettes and marijuana.

I have been living now at Vita student for two months. I really liked the welcome week and their events so far. However, they are now slacking in offering more exiting events. The staff is very helpfull and attentive. Even if the price per week is very high, it is justiefed by brand new facilities, many extras, such as free bikes, events and a room clean. The only big minus is, that you need to be very careful, what they charge you. Some services require extra costs, especially if you want to change something afterwards. They will require fees for almost everything, which is additional and sometimes they even make "mistakes" and charge you more, than agreed on. So check your licence agreement and bills carefully. I cannot tell anything about the common room and social spaces yet, if they're still being build.
