Watton is the biggest hall at De Havilland campus, so when one of the flat's fire alarm goes off everyone from flat 1-24 have to go outside. It's right next to the bus stop which is convenient, however it can be annoying since you can hear students talking and shouting while waiting for the bus.
Overall, despite the cost and the cleaning (I believe the main contribution to this is that there is 11 people per flat which share a kitchen and has to be maintained by those who live in the flat, so if only a couple neglect the space then everyone is affected). It is a very diverse university and you meet so many great people due to the size of the flats and the fact they are quite close to each other. The kitchen is the only place within the flat other than your room where you can social but there are lots of places on the campus to social with people so it's not really that bad.. And of course there is a table in the kitchen. So I do believe it's not actually that bad of accommodation, although I do also believe the price should be a lot less than it currently is :)
