I was in old Lafrowda (read: twelve people crammed into a prison-like flat). The University disregarded flatmate preferences completely when assigning people to this accommodation, so a misogynist xenophobic a** ended up in a flat filled with girls from abroad and ruining their life. Not a very common occurrence I would imagine, but it does happen and the University is incapable of helping.

WiFi a bit dodgy but still the best halls
Lafrowda was amazing, it was lively and social, and filled with so many lovely people. I loved my flat and room, which also had a gorgeous view. The kitchen was spacious and modern, we spent a lot of time in there socialising as a flat, my experience couldn’t have been any better.
I lived in Stock Germans, just behind lafrowda, and it was great. It's not as modern as the lafrowda blocks, but as uni accomodation goes I loved it.
best halls, great social environment, always got things going on, location is great with the Grove Diner and Lemmy, very close to lectures, ideal!
Amazing location - just next to the lemmy and a five minute walk to lectures. This halls is also well known for being the rowdiest freshers accommodation, and it certainly doesn't disappoint
Amazing halls!!! Choisir new lafrowda though(en suite) Old lafrowda is cheaper but pretty grip... Just to give you an idea the people there calle it the prison Come to new lafrowdaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Best halls, close to campus and really nice to live in. Having loads of plug sockets all round the bedroom and a light switch by the bed is brilliant.
No common room as such but lounges in each flat and Kitchen v sociable. Wifi is ok but sometimes doesn't like to work.
Great location, very lively and social, however wifi is really bad!
Lafrowda is a sociable halls with lots of opportunity to meet lots of new people, in a modern surrounding.
Great location - right next to the main Exeter SU club. Rooms are really homely and great to have an ensuite room.
Perfect little community, closest to campus and the nightclub (which you can't hear in the room.) Fresh new & comes with living space.
It's been great so far, I'm pretty sure it's one of the more social halls, it being self-catered and everyone having to use the kitchen at some point. Everyone's pretty friendly, and it stays pretty clean, with some cleaning materials provided.
One of the more expensive halls, but to be expected for any accommodation that provides an en-suite at any university. Light, practical rooms with great facilities of a desk, draws, wardrobe, under-bed storage etc. The en-suite is so convenient and easy to maintain. The kitchens space is great with sofas and a coffee table for social situations. Cupboard space and fridge/freezer and cooker are based on the number in the flat which works well. Opportunity to be a very social block if you're in a block with people that also want to socialise.
We didn't have a common room however we always hung out in the kitchen which is why I gave it 3 stars. I wish I could have given "social experience " 1000 stars
Amazing accommodation (felt like I was staying in a hotel). Brilliant location. Ensuite appreciated. The best location on campus and loved frequent wanders round the back by the duck pond where you feel a million miles away from University. Bit expensive though and I wasn't put with the best of people.
Great halls, problems quickly solved, good location and lively.
very clean and if something didn't work there was a quick turn around to fix it
