Read De Bunsen Hall Reviews
De Bunsen Hall is where all your nightmares come into form of a building. Such a basic kitchen with a row of endless cupboards and really rubbish laundry facilities, not a single tumble dryer in sight. Basic "common room" which consists of really uncomfortable "sofas" which are just plush chairs and a massive wooden table slapped in the middle, a nice lick of paint onto the drab walls wouldn't even make the room liveable. Basic rooms as well, the bed is just a glorified army bed with really basic furniture, for the size of my room I had what would be classed as a hotel wardrobe. The drains in the bathroom (mine was ensuite) would clog up all the time as it couldn't handle more than 3 minutes of water plus the shower is what you would see at a swimming pool, yes I mean the ones where you have to constantly push the button to get the water. Cleaning, well the cleaners were caught taking peoples stuff and locking it away in their own cupboard, we found so many kitchen utensils and pans.
A slight walk from town and uni, trek to the train station. The rooms are all very different sizes for the same price. Kitchen/ living room is lovely and big and easily accommodates everyone.
Great social place to live and good place for parties! Location is away from other students but if your at riverside campus it's only like a 15 minute walk!
