First day I moved in the lifts weren’t working and bare in mind I live on the 5th floor. Had to drag all my items with the help of my friends to my room because reception staff were nowhere to be seen. When I did move in, the builders have made themselves comfortable and left litter in my room. Getting ahold of a vacuum is impossible in this place. Windows open wide which is a health and safety hazard. No security in the building first few months practically ANYONE could enter the building. Reception staff are kind but pretty useless to be fair. Building managers the same. Maintenance staff are rude and to get them to even come to your room is a task itself. The building itself is a joke, loads of things when we first moved in were broken or not in use which is rubbish considering the money we were paying. The accoms reaction to Covid19 rubbish, loads of us moved out and yet still had to pay our last fees. The list goes on tbh, Studio sizes stay the same doesn’t matter what floor

Incompetent staff that don't listen and don't care. Basic things such as bins not in our rooms on arrival, having to perform a lot of maintenance once we moved in indicating the building was nowhere near complete and they opened early. James Bee the general manager is an incompetent very rude and stuck-up manager who does not care about student concerns and only cares for hitting his targets and getting his pay rise! Room, staff and the price you pay is horrible. Absolute dreadful accommodation that has a 'residents first' culture, which in fact does not put residents first, the only concern is profits, oh and with the money they make, they couldn't even give our £100 amazon vouchers until 3 months later!

Don’t chose to live here if you want basic expectations when entering your room. Eg- a clean bed, a light switch that works, a clean bathroom, a window that shuts. On my first day of arrival I entered my room to find a builders jacket on my bed. There was skid marks in my toilet, with a plastic bottle. There was hair in my shower, and black marks all over my wall. Honestly this ruined my ‘move in day to a brand new room’. I have no choice but to stay there for the year. I voiced my concerns to the staff however they just apologised and offered nothing to compensate. If you choose a studio the oven is a microwave and quiet frankly I can’t cook anything in there it just burns. Goodluck if you decide to book
