No one socialises. Room receives barely any daylight and is dark. Bad view, facing courtyard feels like a prison cell. No privacy. Things break and don’t get fixed for weeks on end. Washing machines broken for more than a week so unable to do a wash. Had bed bug infestation when first moved in. Problem with roommate stealing was not solved by management when contacted until a month later.

We welcome all feedback to aid in the improvement of Customer Service delivery, so thank you for providing your review.

At Bagot Street, we hold regular events as part of our Village Life programme, which encourages our residents to meet and socialise. This year our events have been very popular with high attendance of students.

With regards to maintenance, this is logged through our online portal and, where an external contractor is not required or the team are not awaiting parts, maintenance is completed within a few days. If there are delays that are out of the team’s control, the job is updated on the portal.

We did recently experience an issue in our laundry room, but all affected residents were offered a complimentary wash at our building across the road and provided with laundry cards after. This issue has now been resolved and the laundry room is now open.

We are sorry to hear about your issues with bed bugs. When a report is made, this is logged with our external pest control contractor. In all cases, we endeavour to deal with pest control issues as swiftly as possible.

Whilst we try to assist in resolving flatmate conflicts as soon as possible, sometimes due to the complexity of the issue we need to investigate and act accordingly. This can mean that issues can take a while to resolve. We try to keep all parties updated through each stage of the process.

Overall, we are disappointed to hear about your experience at Bagot Street. We would like to discuss this with you in more detail. Could you email us on BagotStreet@clvuk.com to arrange a meeting with a member of Senior Management to give us an opportunity to improve your experience with us for the remainder of your stay.

Terrible honestly avoid at all costs. Would give zero stars tbh. Walls are so thin, everywhere echoes haven't had a decent night sleep at a all - complete waste of money

I'm truely disgusted and upset with the experience of living in Bagot street. I have only been here for two weeks and have already experienced several events. I moved into the flat to discover sewage and pee on the toilet seat. I went to the reception to express my issue and was told that there was nothing they could do at that time of day and that I had to avoid my toilet and use the toilet in the commune area which was 6 floors down. The room carpet was stained and was very dusty. The flat looked as if someone had moved out that day the walls were dirty and the chairs were scratched. As a 3rd year I thought going into student accomodation would be the least stressful. I was completely wrong. The accomodation is extremely noisy and smells like weed. I also came home from work ready to cook some dinner and sited a rat in the kitchen which I have a huge phobia of. Again I went to the reception to express my issue and was told that there was nothing they could do at the time of day!

I have wasted my money staying here. £6300 which has gone up from previous years. It seems like the owner is a stingy b******. The whole blocks windows are absolutely filthy from the outside, with dirt, water marks, cob webs and algae growing they look like they havent been cleaned since the f****** block was created. Aston halls had window cleaners atleast twice a year. Secondly, no cleaning or emptying of bins in the kitchen thanks to stingy lack of staff by management/owner. The vending machines in the common room are always out of order. Your staff are moody as hell, when you want to play pool, there aren't any cues that are functional, the table is ripped to shreds in three areas so the pool experience is s***. Then there is the stench of weed in the block which is f****** disgusting. I am like most against drugs and it the smell leaks to your room from the bottom and top. People above you chuck rubbish like pizza boxes down below and it bangs on your window and leaves crumbs and

Don't waste your money, I have had the worst experience living here this past year. There is a constant stench of weed across the site, I contacted security about people smoking in my common area and outside my flat and although they caught them, they did nothing about it. This is the norm throughout Bagot St. Furthermore, it is constantly noisy, the biggest problem being shouting/fighting coming from the coutyards and extremely loud music. I moved flats because of this yet it did not help, the rooms are not at all soundproof and I was kept up for countless nights due to loud music and security did little to nothing despite being contacted several times. I was also repeatedly ignored over email, the customer service is truly shocking. The lifts constantly break (there are 16 floors and have been times when none of the lifts in this block have been broken) and the hot water repeatedly stops working. I also had rats in my kitchen which management were extremely unhelpful with solving.

I would not recommend anyone to live at Bagot Street. It is overpriced, don't be fooled by the pretty exterior. The lift never works (block B), the stairs always smell disgusting. The hot water stopped working on several occasions and no compensation was given. The staff can be rude. The rooms aren't sound proof so you can hear EVERYTHING - even people opening their cupboards. I experienced some issues regarding university and was considering taking a leave of absence. I expressed my issues with management and never received a reply after contacting them numerous times. They are unhelpful! They just want your money!
