No common room which is a shame but didn't need one! Rooms are the biggest on campus - can fit 20 people easily! Foyer ended up being our common room after a night out and it was the best hall for socialising! Everyone got into friendship groups easily - if you didn't get along with people on your floor you just made friends with people in the other floors! What we didn't have in unnecessary fancy facilities and ensuites we made up for in character! Lovely grassy area meant that we had great snowball fights+sledding when it snowed and ball games+picnics when it was sunny - a real family atmosphere! Walls are thin so if you're not so much on the sociable side it may not be for you as it can be noisy but you have the rest of uni life to be in quiet accommodation and you only need 40% to pass 1st year anyway. Price turns out to be a LOT cheaper than the other accommodation when you factor in that you have your meals provided for! Best place to be!
Awful. However hard you try and clean it they still remain dirty. Appliances in the flat are practically broken and the rooms do not have enough storage space. The rooms are also freezing in winter (even with the heating on) and in summer they are boiling. Can't win with the place!
