First of all, I would like to stress that the staff has been absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful. No matter who was at the reception, they were always willing to listen when I encountered issues and try and help me solve it. Thank you! I had some problems adapting to a ground floor flat, and the bathroom wasn't amazing. Similarly, cleaning only once a month (during summer) was a bit insufficient. The kitchen was spacious and with a nice seating area, but the stove seemed occasionally a bit slow. The laundry machines were a bit prone to have an error in the middle of a washing cycle. Overall, good value for money location and spaces wise, and absolutely amazing staff at the reception!

It's been a wonderful experience living here at Don street house Aberdeen. I have made lots of friends and really enjoy the WiFi service. So far it is the only student accommodation I've been to here in Aberdeen with a very good living space with TV, so no boring moments for movie lovers.

I recently had a fantastic stay at my accommodation. The rooms were clean and the environment, friendly, quiet and perfect for focused study. The WiFi was excellent, a vital asset for any student. Place has an amazing location. 600-1000 Megabyte upload, fastest internet I've experienced. Very warm, given Aberdeen is cold this is a gem, heater can be placed on at any time. Lovely staff and receptionist who e-mail you with events, any shipments. Angelia is an absolute star and has been so helpful. Will recommend and stay for a further term. RW

It’s good for the money, cleaning areas like the bath and kitchen is not being done, though that is now being rectified. Overall it’s good.

Accomodation is spacious, clean and quiet. Close to Kings Campus with bus links to Foresterhill and Tesco. 5 minute walk from Lidl. Good value for money. Staff have been very helpful and approachable, especially Angela who helped arrange my contract at short notice after another landlord left me in the lurch

It’s been quite a good experience, the receptionist as been wonder Angela, but socially we don’t interact with each other in the apartment, common room also small and hiding

Hope you all doing well I'm Tejas Nambiar, I landed here in Aberdeen around 2am midnight. When I reached here in don street house student accommodation it was around 3am, I'd no idea what to do and who to contact. But when I called the student helpline contact number, the service people reached within 5-10 mins to help me with the room allocation and sign-up. The service was so great and the environment is so amazing. Property cleanliness has also been taken into consideration very well. My overall experience was so good. I encourage future students to come here in don street house, Every student.

On the whole it's a decent place to stay for those wanting to be close to the University campus and away from the city centre. Payment schedule is slightly dodgy as it makes it impossible to leave a month early without paying for that month. Flats are in an ok condition, could definitely use a face lift. The walls and ceilings are quite thin so you better hope you have quiet flatmates. Laundry facilities onsite consisting of 3 washers and 3 dryers which are free most of the time in my experience

Our company policy provides that where a customer has an UK guarantor and his rent is divided into installments, the last installment must be paid at least one month before the check out date. Don Street House had recently been bought over from unite students, to every student. They did not have much of a staff change over so you can only give them so much leeway when it comes to the poor service. All of your general reception visits for parcel pick ups/lost keys etc have been handled promptly and professionally, however flat visits and issues are beyond satisfactory. The staff will send an email letting you know on what day and which time there will be flat maintenance/visits - only to then ignore the stated time and show up a week later unannounced.

Staff are very friendly and there’s laundry services on site. Parking is available for cars and bikes and it’s really close to Aberdeen Uni. There’s a Lidls nearby too and it’s close to Seaton Park. Not as many social spaces - you can meet outside but indoors it can get kinda cramped if you have more than one or two people over. Flats and services are clean, and maintenance work is done well and promptly when I’ve reported it.

We are currently in discussions with a local architect with a vew to imrpoving the common areas at this site, so hopefully we can make some changes there soon to make it more spacious and better able to accommodate our residents
Perfect location for Aberdeen University. Quiet area. Reception staff are very kind and helpful. Check-in is straight-forward. It’s not far from the city centre too. Couldn’t ask for much more as a student.
Dirty flat upon move in and no action upon complaint, no heater upon move in and for 4 days, no action for noise complaint, washjng machine and dryer not working just making clothes wet.
Don Street is great value for money. Great reception staff, Caitlin is always so friendly and happy to answer any queries
